    So many people don’t comprehend me when I tell them I’m not boxing I’m destroying you. Found this man and he’s been speaking my language way better than me. 🤝🏾

    Your information is so right! I am 65 years old. And there is no way that I have the same speed I had when I was in my 20’s. Keep up the great work.

    I'm 63, been doing martial Arts for years; he's definitely on point. I train sometimes with my Son (28) & nephews (range early 20's) and they bring me back to reality quick. One approach that I went into was Kali/FMA cause the older you get you Need an equalizer. Thoughs strikes/kicks/grappling etc skills are not the same as before. Another thing that Must be emphasize is try not to be in confrontational situations as much as possible and if so brush up on your verbal & humility skills. If possible talk your way out of it if it goes that far. Everyone can't run, but we can avoid, talk and sharpen our environmental/relational skills.

      Catching a bare fist with an open hand is not very practical, you could catch punches from boxing gloves but not a bare fist.

    • @dynamic75
      @dynamic75 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @nicklubrino2606 Correct, but you can parry them at a long range and control the distance. That’s the main point here. Even Mayweather gets hit in the ring. No one has that luxury in the street, one hit can and it - so why get into some boxing exchange?

    Some of the guys in my karate club competed at a Combat Ju Jitsu event some months ago. They are all Black Belts but were significantly beaten by guys who used boxing skills in competition. They were doing exactly what is highlighted in this video: getting into a boxing match with better skilled boxers.. This video is extremely valuable in teaching this fundamental rule of fighting...

    Been in Martial Arts for 50+ years. Master in one style. Black Belt in another. Lifted weights, did combat/reality, kickboxer, and so on.
    I am 66, almost 67. Just like you said, “I am not that guy anymore.” Takes awhile for that to sink in. Your body feels it. But your head doesn’t like it. But it is sure enough for real. You speak the truth sir!

Thank you for sharing.

    this guy has exactly the same approach as Geoff thompson from the UK. hit hard and hit first was always thompsons policy as a bouncer back in the 1980s, once he logged the threat in front of him. to not do so meant a trip to the emergency ward or the morgue. and still does!

    I was watching tiktok videos and I saw a younger woman boxing a mannequin. I have never seen anything like it.
    She had lightening speed reflexes throwing punches one after the other and totally destroyed the mannequin.
    It was scary and she was relatively small.
    I am 61 and we live in a dangerous world and you are right...the best defense is...not to fight. I always walk down the street with a good posture and always aware of my surroundings...keeping a safe distance between people.
    And I am never looking down at my cell phone.
    I just subscribed.

    No offense would get KO'd trying to defend yourself against a boxer like that, they attack from angles, nobody who really know show to box is going to come out at straight with your hands like that when you're wide open to the body and both sides of your head, also a leaping left hook would close the distance fast enough to KO soon as you put your hands up like that
