I have this same jet in red & white. My fan was badly out of balance so I replaced it with a HSD 105mm semi-metal unit. Very happy with the plane and the upgraded power system. The jet is heavy and needs a fair amount of runway but is a pleasure to fly. Looks fantastic on the ground and in the air. Can't beat the under $1,000 price which includes free shipping and no sales tax. I actually bought two of them so I would have a complete supply of parts.

Bro..that flying looks like top gun 1 naval aviation footage. I love you fly these jets so realistically adding commentary relevancy like reduced power cruise...wheels down this is a short circuit..keep the trapazoid from squashing or elongating...and fpv makes watching rc jets fly like you can't even tell they're models...

That was cool as hell. Love the FPV stuff and man that flight was smooth, stuck that landing too. So sweet.

Sul MB-339 il canopy non scorre indietro ma si ribalta lateralmente e su questa versione (MB-339 A), non è presente il glass cockpit.

Yes, I cut out the sides to give me better peripheral vision.

      @@kath011 ok, I understand. It's anyway a wonderful airplane.

I’m really interested in how you setup/worked on the canopy to occupy the vtx components. Was cutting into the canopy plastic windows difficult? I recently received my 90mm Viper and would like to do a similar setup. 🙏

It takes a little patience and a very sharp exacto knife😊. First, I pull the canopy away from the cockpit foam base. I much prefer to work from the top of the cockpit than the bottom. Be careful as you pull the plastic canopy away from the foam. You can use an exacto knife here also to slowly cut away the glue. You can use the pilot that comes with the Viper or make your own. Cutting into the plastic window is difficult but it can be done by switching out exacto blades often. I will make one light cut all the way across to set the groove line, then follow that same cut with slightly more pressure, same blade, then finally a third or even a fourth cut same blade. Switch blades for the parallel line, the same procedure to open the plastic. I will send you a link to the pilots I use and a few pics of the canopy.

@@kath011 Thank you for the response. I’m really impressed with the work you did, especially the idea for the landing gears to have a dip switch when they’re up or down. Smart idea since we’ll be in the goggles and can’t tell if they’re correctly out. Yes, please send some of the info/images of the work you did. It would be great content for the channel, not many people have done this and my club in NorCal, I’m pretty much the only one trying the push the envelope with FPV aircrafts.

I know the feeling. I was the only one here pushing FPV. Its catching now that everyone can see the potential with fixed wing FPV and the fun. I will send you the pics or anything else I can help you with in promoting FPV. 👍
