Your welder generator is a 6,000 watt generator. I would keep it and use it to run the other welder but then you would still have that built in generator for emergency backup if the other welder stopped working for some reason. We have an acetylene set up, plus a wire welder, but are looking to buy a welder generator. We are looking at the Hobart Champion Elite DC Welder Generator, 225A. It cost about $2,900 and is a 225 AMP welder with a 9,000 watt generator. That unit has two 220 volt 50 Amp outlets and four 115 volt 20 amp outlets.
    Thanks for the video. 🤪👍

Great in depth review. I have a 200 amp amico welder and a 5500 watt continuous generator I've been using. I've been all over the map about what i need to be using. It really comes down to what you can afford and what your capable to do with it. I've made a custom bumper, a trailer, a 20×24 shop, gates, entrances, and endless miscellaneous stuff(400)? Lbs of rods?? I beefed up my leads and have 35ft stinger and 20ft grnd and a 100ft of 10ga. Extension cord. My little amico welds way better on a 30amp wall plug than on the generator. Its like it kills the duty cycle. Right now im welding 8300 linear ft of pipe fence and so far have 2400ft finished. I found a new clutch welder on offer up for 1400 and was like oh wow it has a kholer!! Then you laid out the pros/cons quite nicely. I think im gonna invest in a better generator, then get me a sa 250. Thankyou so much for your review.

Thanks for your video I was seriously considering buying one of these for getting in hard to reach access, when I am unable to pull my rig into a specific area,
I think now I will get quality generator and the Amico welder.

I got a generator to run my inverted stick welder and that wasn't good especially with bigger rods. Took the chance and got one these Klutch machines and it works great . It burns 7018 5/32 rods with no problem. It does come from the land of 6013(china) so don't expect to burn 6010.On the generator side it does run a clothes dryer on 240v.

Thanks for the review. I am a plumber and occasionally need to do some welding. Portability is my number one concern. A 500 pound machine like most twin cylinder units, is just not practical to move around even with wheels. So... that leave me with this one, the hobart, and I think lincoln has a small one but they want an insane amount for it. So..... I also want a 5000k generator.... and that leaves only this one. I have an old multiquip now but its showing its age. I dont know...... maybe Im asking to much for portability, large generator and price. Sounds like I should stear clear of this one and either get the hobart and deal with the smaller generator or go large and deal with the portability.
