There have been plenty of days when I thought to myself "I suck at fishing, I can't catch anything or maybe I should find a new hobby". Then finally get that first bite and land a fish or more. Then it's "what a awesome day fishing“!! I'm pretty good at this"! Lol.
I love watching Zona live when he does those shows --this shows you how it really happens over an extended period of time. So many people think that these pros catch them non stop.
This actually was motivating for me. I don’t give myself enough time to actually have a good day. At times I’ve caught a fish first cast and then wonder why I don’t catch fish most days. After 15 20 minutes I’m already thinking about changing locations and in reality I have to just be patient.
Fish in the moment! Great video man, you remind me of myself. I learned so much when I started traveling to Florida fishing inshore. Never realized the monsters you can land on 20lb fluoro until I done it lol tight lines brother.
Took my 12 year old jig fishing for smallmouth, after a few hours he was ready to go home, the lake sucked, I sucked, everything sucked. And then the 3 pounder hit, and then the 4 pounder, and I lost count on the dinks. 8 hours on the water, less than an hour bite window, best day ever!
That's Florida for ya brother 😂👍🏼 Northern Florida fresh water for huge large mouth goes 2 ways, catch alot 1-2-3-5lbers 15 mins np then Nothin or nothing at all but one big 10lber. Nails it random time ! Random spot 2 💯👍🏼 Floridian am I right ⁉️lol
I figure Nature OWES ME. I have been fishing many times where I got completely skunked, and I basically tried everything to at least catch a fish, ANY fish...but NOPE. As much as I LOVE getting out on the water, now that I am much older, it takes an effort to find time to go fishing, so when I do go, catching bass is the #1 priority. And when I don't catch anything I feel defeated, almost as if wondering if it's really worth the effort to fish... But like golf where you get a par on a hole, and that motivates to play again, catching a single bass is motivation to try again...but the days where I get skunked are 'a lot of effort and nothing to show for it' 🙄😒

Definately relatable. One of my favorites experience was catching a fish on 8 casts in a row after 4-6 hours of not catching a single thing
One of the best inspirational fishing i have ever seen. Thank you tyler.
This is great! Just got back into angling more! New subscriber.
Thanks for the advice!
Berg, Thank you so much for your advice over the years! I’m from Youngstown, Ohio and much of your advice is spot on. Keep up the good work Brother!

Great video buddy can’t wait for the next one 🎣🤙🏽
Great reminder. I leave fish to find fish way too much.

You are fishing for the wrong reason. Try to just enjoy being out there and the fish catches will just be a bonus! Good luck in the future!!
🤠👍🏻
