Some of the greatest medicine.. wheels, hotel/motel rooms, time.. I've been locked down by a 100year old house project i call the Belly House right off the I 75 highway on the edge of what once was Black Bottom in Detroit since Halloween of 2009 and 11yrs of court for being a legal med marijuana card holder.. raising my family here 17years.. before 2009 i took my kid w me everywhere but my ex and her wealthy family have sic bully lawyer dogs on me 11yrs.. Can't wait to take a bus trip with my son to Graceland.. He is almost emancipated.. Want to take him to Kansas and Missouri for some experience as well.. Mid eighties we left Detroit for there with many other auto union families from our area and all across the country.. Our dads worked building the super cab F 150 in Kansas City.. We cheered on the Detroit Tigers from Kansas to the world series in '84, so many of us were out there wearing our Tiger hats, i was 10 and adults gave me grief everywhere, at the baseball games we were in seas of Royal blue.. Watching the beautiful Tiger stadium and those grey skies of home on the tv was magical.. Then the next year the Royals won the world series which was also amazing, both Tigers and Royals had epic teams during that time.. Every holiday was with extended union families.. People were able to buy land and have nice homes, everything was less expensive yet we had the best schools in the country, 40 miles of bike path, art classes, friends... left in '88 back to Detroit.. My parents got tired of moving and are still stuck in a trailer park in Flat Rock a few mins from the iconic Huron Valley Eagles club supposedly where Bill Monroe played his last gig.. Still an amazing place intense live music, clogging, plates of food you buy through a window and awesome bar with strong drinks.. i will get back on the road soon for a long while.. we have had death threats, legal obstruction, political nazism and more hounding us here for a long time.. sell out artist community where predators abound and more.. time to fly for awhile
