Thank you so much, brother 🙏 glad to hear. I went a little more avant garde with it, haha, so I'm glad it worked. Green screen is frowned upon but it's a shockingly powerful tool for low budget storytelling
How do you do when you try to find an Amaran200x's alternative but you live in france and don't have access to sutefoto brand here, anyone have some ideas on alternative with this kind of specs please ? 😅🙏
@@enchante1769 why not go with the amaran in that case? I think it's only $30 more expensive. Otherwise, I'd look at GVM. They make really good amaran equivalents amzn.to/407wBZX
@@ScottJeschke @ScottJeschke for the context I'm looking for a light that is able to do the artificial sun through the Windows in your video at 0:50 sec, but I find the amaran is too much for my budget and I'm ready to buy a second hand if it's needed (the 200x is expensive on second hand websites) so I'm looking for a cheaper alternative that can deliver like the 200x 😅
I was thinking this whole film, the LUT is incredible. I knew you had Dehancer going, but this is really nice. Great job Scott. Did you project those backgrounds? ex: @0:19
Thanks so much, Matt! It's a custom LUT that I'm hoping to make available so that's great to hear. And it's very compatible w dehancer which is nice. Backgrounds are green screen ha. A vert underrated tool for low budget storytelling
Dude no way this was shot on an fx3 with Tamron's has to be an arri. This looks marvelous, are you using tiffin pro mist filters or anything ? How did you achieve this look outside of grading. If yo say lighting and grading then wow
@@OhenesJourney thanks so much! I use a custom film emulation lut that I created (hopefully to be made public soon) then I use bloom in Dehancer instead of pro-mists. And yeah, lighting haha
I agree that it's too expensive. It's cheaper, but it's such a similar light, that odd to only be $50 cheaper. But then again, that's probably part of why not many people have heard of it

@ScottJeschke if it takes 200W light it probably good enough 😆.
And considering the price ? I'll take it ! Thank you so much !
@@Mafatgid haha absolutely!
Wow you always blow me away with how much time and quality you put in a review! How long did this take you? Your a beast🔥
Thank you, brother 🙏 took too long haha. Prob 40 hrs of work. At the end, I was like.. why did I do this? Ha, but it's fun when it comes together.
If Wes Anderson did TH-cam. 🤣🤣🤣
Great video, but I don't get the haze. Does it really make things better?
Haha high praise 🙏 and thanks so much.
Haze isn't for everything, but it's nice for adding volume to a room and beams to light. I'm a sucker for it

Odd move on their part - the only way to compete is to cut the cost drastically ($150) or innovate (like Zhuiyun is doing)
