I went crazy when I found out I was booked in an inside cabin, but it wasn't all that bad. I just left the TV on with the channel of the ship cam and it felt like I had a window.

Always carry your own bags. Also, get wine resealable tops. Empty out you wine and put liquor in them. Works every time for me.

@@Mrstipsmith yes but not as thoroughly (time is important) and if they see a sealed wine bottle they won’t question it unless you have more than one. I’ve seen people pass with dollar store versions of boot leg wine bottles and somehow never got caught so, anything goes unless it obvious I guess

They got me last cruise too.....not funny! I got a note under my cabin door to go to security to get my bag. Get to the security area and it was packed with bags and people, found my bag and wheeled it right on out.......and up the stairs and into my cabin haha.....I'm a winner!! sort of
We bought rum runners in Miami and spread two-2 liter bags between two checked bags. Just put them between layers of clothes. Worked perfectly. Adn we STILL drank at the bar, just didn't feel like we had to go broke doing it. Highly doubt there are any repercussions. And once you leave stateside ports, it's even easier to refill. Just don't be obvious. By then, everyone is bringing pops, unfinished drinks, and water onboard. I think they are primarily looking for bottles. Loved your vid.

We’ve been using rum runners for years. My son had his rum runners taken because he had an extension cord in his luggage so they opened up his suitcase

On my first cruise, I forgot about 5 mini bottles in my back pack. I packed them for the long flight to Puerto Rico for myself and my friend. We ended up sleeping on the plane and didn't drink. I got to my room on the ship with my backpack on my back, and there they were! 5 mini bottles in the front pocket of my backpack. Maybe they focus more on the extra sneaky stuff so much that they miss the obvious?
I have been on 5 curses and NEVER had a refrigerator in my room. ( good for you to have one)
Tried it with Snapple bottles back in the day! Lmao got dumped out by TSA in front of the entire line! I was like... you ain’t got to dump it all ... they ain’t all liquor. smh I had some nerve!

For a 10 day cruise I usually order 2 bottles of vodka from the ship to be delivered to the room. It is about twice the retail price, but the ship is happy and I don't have to smuggle.

Yea we do the drink package now, but we are going to do the bottle service next cruise.

I also request that the room steward makes sure that there are always 6 wine glasses in my room.
We then fill 2 and take them to dinner.
When finished, we just leave them at the dinner table.
Next day, we use 2 fresh glasses.
2 bottles for 2 people last about 5 days. OK...maybe 3 days. LOL

Cruselines, have listing on their site of alcohol, soda, water for purchase prior to sailing...and they will be delivered to your cabin. Some of ships allow you to bring limited amount of canned soda. 👌🏽

It depends on the cruise line. Some allows 1 to 2 bottles of wine, some allow sodas, but you’d have to check on the website

Where did he have them? I put one in my shoe & one in my lotion bag! (Sun tan, Off, Sun Burn lotion, ect.)

That's why I cruise with NCL. They are always having promotions with beverage packages included so I don't pay extra for alcohol. But different strokes for different folks. Just as long as enjoy your cruise.
We are definitely trying the package on our next cruise. We haven’t cruised with NCL just yet, only RC and Carnival. Which ship with NCL would you recommend?
@@AllThingsKatrinaRenee I just sailed on the Epic last September doing the Western Mediterranean. I absolutely love that ship. If you want something smaller I suggest the Gem
I only sail Royal or NCL.

How is carnival? Ive been on rcl allure which was an amazing ship but far too crowded and didnt like structured dining times and they switched up reservations with little notice. Done the boston to Bermuda twice on the ncl dawn and a 3rd booked on ncl gem. Now they are older ships but service is good and its freestyle, eat where and when you want, also the perks are nice..free alcohol pakage and also get 3rd and 4th guest free, great for the kids. Always up to trying other cruise lines
Aww dang! I always get nervous, but my drinks make it through..going again next month so hopefully I won’t have issues! This will also be an inside for us which will be weird, lol. We normally do balcony but we’re going on Horizon for just 4 days...and that jammy was still expensive!

I just came back from my first cruise with my wife, and one of her friends did exactly that, she used a the big white Crest bottle and filled it with vodka and it made it on. Only bad part was that the Absolut had a little minty taste. I hope this helps and I hope you guys have fun

Jus get some of them shampoo n conditioner bottles... We also get some extra seals for future cruises. The company is shampbooze and they sell extra seals bcuz only one comes with the two bottles you get. Been using this the last 5 cruises plus legally they can't open sealed bottles 😁👍

Okay honestly, I’m not certain. I do know they just put a slip in his bag that just let him know he can’t bring his own alcohol on board. They had no way of telling his age.

No they didn’t give us a fine at all. They just gave us a letter that stated they confiscated out liquor and we basically weren’t getting it back. Also, we have been on 2 carnival cruises since this one and have not been banned or kicked off like some people threatened 😂

We did the bottomless bubbles on our first cruise. I could not drink enough to make it worthwhile. I really tried.
We will get the package in our next cruise and give it a solid go. I just don’t see me drinking that much. I mean I guess if nothing else, I can pay for each individual drink.

Cruise booz bags. Google them, they are cheap. i put them in my checked bags, make sure no air bubbles in the bags is key. I have a fleet of them, I put them in my 2 checked bags, usually 3 to5 liters for a trip, in 3 or 4 cruise booz bags,never been caught and I cruise several times a year. The liquid mass in a bubble shape screws up the person reviewing the xrays. Never have a problem. On the same exact note, My girlfriend loves wine. So, on a trial run , 3 cruises ago. I packed 2 bags of boxed wine. I removed them from the box, which is only a liquid bag, and packed it in my CHECKED luggage. It makes it everytime, also, as long as you remove it from the box, which is simple. Dont try and pack in carry on. I never have, so I cant recomend. If you pack cruise booze bags, loaded with rum and vodka or w/e, and also bags of wine, in checked luggage, it will make it everytime.

On thing i noticed that you did wrong is that you left all of the air in the liquor. This is a dead giveaway. The only thing that the xray can see is an air bubble moving. Sqeeze out all of the air and see if that helps

Does the 32oz hold an entire fifth of liquor? I have 1 32oz, 1 16oz and 1 8oz. We are probably only going to drink like 1 bottle of liquor on our trip, so do you think it's better to disperse it between the 16oz + 8oz, or just put it all in the 32oz? Thanks!
I’d disperse it between the 32 and 16. You want to leave room to remove air bubbles.

Honestly how many drinks do you have a day on the cruise? Sometimes the plan is a great option! Since it covers EVERYTHING unlimited on specialty coffee, soda, water bottles in the dining rooms and Powerade etc. girl it can be worth it!

I order my booze prior to sailing from cruise line... no way I’m unnerved getting caught with .. no no haul... is the embarrassment worth it?🤔
So we have never purchased the packages because the hubby doesn’t drink, but we are going to go ahead and pre purchase on our next cruise to see if it’s worth it to buy the package for both of us (considering he’s not a huge soda, coffee or alcohol drinker) or if I should just pay for my drinks outright next time. And as far as embarrassment, there is none involved. They simply take your booze and tell you to enjoy your cruise. We don’t take these things too seriously life’s too short to be worried about what others think, ya know?
Believe or not there are people in this world that don’t govern their actions based of momentary possible embarrassment. Even if it was “embarrassing” are people going to be thinking about it the whole cruise. If so they need something else to do ... like enjoy the cruise instead of preoccuping their minds with the doings of others.

I wrap my runners in beach towels, then put it in a 2 gallon sized ziploc bag and place all the toiletries on top..i put in the center of my suitcase in between the clothes
