Anyways, I have no ever seen a VW Pick up truck since the Rabit or whatever it was called that was based on the car chasis and looked like a subura Brat. Good score on the block!
My w124 300D is in terrible shape. only 365 000km but previous owner has been driving horse trailers. makes so much noises and engine sweats like hell.. wish i had such tools and knowledge as you out there :P Got my car for 5000SEK tho so not that terrible after all but i want to keep the car on the road. greetings from some dutch guy living in south sweden >.

this is three years ago, so i dont remember the specs. But i am pretty sure the haynes workshop manual for W124 mercedes do have the specs for tighten those bolts

I also did order a new valve cover gasket that was for an engine without this feature to make the delete complete.

I think this engine should last 300kkm without oil change. Probably you have 1 000 000 + 365 000 ;-)
