Learned some facts about moose I never knew. Love Alaska. The Alaska Railroad is a beautiful way to see the countryside. We rode it from Whittier to Denali on our trip in 2016. I would love to go back one day and see more of the gorgeous scenery.
Looks like a fun adventure. Would love to take a train across Canada one day. And obviously visit Alaska! Thanks for sharing. Very beautiful. Lovely that you were able to see the noose!
We’ve taken this train ride a few times and always enjoyed it. One of my favorite Alaska stories comes from the first time we rode the train. There’s always something unbelievable, and soAlaskan, that happens on each ride.
Absolutely Gorgeous!!! I'd sure love to ride that! Hotter than blue blazes here. I'm indoors by noon or so. Hottest I've ever seen it here. Have a good weekend !!!
Really enjoyed this video we were fortunate enough to be able to take the Hurricane Train this summer it was a fun trip didn’t discover your channel until we returned home.
I went to high school in Healy and I remember driving over Hurricane Gulch. My wife, daughter and I took the train from Fairbanks to Anchorage then on to Seward back in 2013. It was a great ride
We want to take the Seward train this fall. Everyone says it is amazing to see. I think I read some place that the town of Healy is like 75% on the railroads property.
@@curmudgeinnakyeah its a very scenic ride. Yeah railroad property stretches all the way through healy, lots of access roads and areas surrounding the rails belong to the railroad.
I wish we could. The issue is it could take a month for it to get delivered by the train and then a few days of usage then another month of waiting for them to get it. Cost more than buying one at that point. We are trying to squirrel away some $$ to buy a small tractor with a number of attachments.
I have enjoyed a few of your videos. If you could speak a little louder that would be great. It’s not horrible but just a suggestion. Thank you. The river is stunning.
No, sorry. That is a trail cam that I keep at the tracks. No cell signal to set up one of those kinds of systems and our property is a bit over a mile away. Thank you for stopping by.
@@curmudgeinnak Your beautiful video inspired me to look up the Alaska passenger railroads so l could find out through the schedules the distances, travel times and costs. Thanks.
The view from the bridge is worthy of a postcard for sure!

Totally agree! It is never the same twice that is for sure.
Fantastic areas you pass on the way- lovely scenery!♥
It really is! Each bend in the rail opens up to a beautiful spot.
My Grandmother worked in the train when I was a kid in the 80's and 90's.
ooh cool. :-)

Go for it! Yeah that heat is no good for anyone. Stay cool my friend.
Great trip! I'm pretty sure I saw Ed waving from a mountain top somewhere along the way. Thanks for sharing! Take care. -Dusty
lol. I wish we got close to Ed. This is going north from here and Ed is south East of us. Thanks for watching .

Absolutely fantastic ride, like that Bigfoot lol.

Hello and welcome. We are glad that you found us. The train and the crew are amazing.
Fantastic show man !
Big wild land with lots of life bursting forth.
That is likely a great fishing adventure in the rocky rapids river.
You got that right! I think I will be going up the tracks next week to do some fishing.
Absolutely beautiful! Nice!
Thank you very much! We are glad you enjoyed it.
Rob & Sarah ... nice video.
Thank you very much Beto. Hope you are doing good.

This is my first time watching your videos. I really enjoyed this! I could live this life. Actually, I could live on that train you were touring!
Hello and welcome. I may of said that on another comment of yours but that is ok. lol. We love the train and the life style. Thank you for watching.
That was an amazing trip !
Yes it was! We had a blast. Hope you are doing good my friend.
You should get or borrow a brush hog to clean up the trails,I do it once a year over here in Maine

Amazing sites now I want to go on our Alaska train ride now. Lol
You will enjoy it my friend. Not sure what it looks like in South East Alaska but I am sure it will be just as amazing.
Where was to brakeman to wipe off the hanrails and supply the stepping box??
ooh I do not think they wipe the hand rails anymore much. The step was set down. Thank you for watching. :-)

Will do, We are ordring Mics to help with that issue. :-)
@@curmudgeinnak , thank you, Ihave subscribed and look forward to a,many more.

There used to be a tv show about the people that lived on this railroad route. What was it?
Railroad Alaska. And our property was on the show with the original owners Jim and Nancy.
Some stats would be helpful to understand more about the journey.
What kind of stats would you like to see more of so I know for the future?
