- VALORANT are releasing the new Imperium Vandal, and in this video I'm comparing it to the Elderflame Vandal, to see which is better. These two skins have very similar themes, but there are definitely a lot of differences in their gameplay that set them apart.

The imperium is just good because it's a newer skin so the effort for the finisher is a higher quality, if the elderflame had something like that as a finisher it would be the coolest vandal

They’re both good in their own way. Imperium has a good finisher but the elderflame has better animation and sounds. In my opinion I would pick elderflame over imperium, the imperium has good finisher but the elderflame is just better.

I personally think the imperium looks really bad. It feels extremely cheap. Also, the finisher is amazing, but thats the only good thing I can say about it

imperium kinda cool but i prefer the elderflame cause the gun is really a dragon and the kill effect is like araxys and sound too same as araxys

I think the default vandal is better because my broke ass can't buy any skin let alone these.
Personally, I prefer the imperium, just because the elder flame feels too bulky for me. But I wouldn’t buy either, cos you can get better skins like araxys for the same price as imperium.

Araxys also feels wobbly like elder, but yes something like Sentinel of Light is better.
A category like “Gameplay” would be nice, some skins dont look that good or have fancy animations but have very visible bullet travers, a nice shooting sound or just feel good like the recon phantom, i think thats a pretty huge point too where the imperium could shine

I dont know why I would pick the Imperium over the Elderflame. The design is way cooler on the elderflame, the scales seem alive and the sound isn't as rackety as the imperium. You want a cool finisher that might appear if you have the last kill, sure go for imperium. But elderflame all the way
Imperium is a decent skin, just not worth 2175 VP.. 1775 VP would have been a better price. Elderflame doesn't interest me that much and Imperium headshots sounds powerful and clean.

imperium carried by finisher, rest of the gun deserves 1775, shouldve made the skin itself worthy of 2175 and maybe made the overall skin price same as elderflame, the pricing should be elderflame bcz the finisher on elderflame is worthy of 2175 and the skin itself is 2475 worthy, so if you swap those around with skin being 2175 worthy and finisher being 2475 worthy riot could bs their way into making it 2475

usually i would say "what kind of a comparison is it ? the skins are like 2 years apart obviously the later is gonna look good cause it has more work put into it" , but tbh elderflame is not that great it is overhyped cause it not only looks different looks different but it is an actual dragon as a gun which shoots bullet through it's mouth , anyways using it feels like you're holding a dragon's pp and the sound is so loud and the dragon keeps drooling when you shoot , literally makes you whiff every shot unless you're concentrating so hard

We need more skins like the elderflame and the imperium is to pricy for a A tier bundle the weapons dnt have any unique inspect features like the arcade weapons for that price it should have the main thing carrying the imperium bundle is the finishers and the op skin
