I'm genuinely confused. Why do people hate regular infinite but love this? All it looks like is a change in art style but gameplay is the same. I understand the missing characters but infinite seems to get incredibly over hated

Honestly just like the vanilla version of the game the humans look super rough, but the characters with masks or armors look fine. Nothing that cannot be fixed with more time, and it's being done by a single guy so it's understandable, but still needs work. Seeing MVCI get some attention is fine anyway, so it's nice to see high effort mods. Probably will look good when this mods releases and other people can improve it.
If they released this mod, many modders would take a crack at it and polish the game a bit, like altered some voice lines and music, adding more stages (or add back some of the previous stages in other MVC games), and hopefully add more characters like the returning ones (especially the X-Men)

@@meganinten0078 ohh no yeah, the themes for the new characters are pretty good actually and a few got actually improved like Chris and Nemesis, but good god the whole returning marvel cast got a massive downgrade lol except for maybe Iron Man, and most of the returning capcom cast got worse too, but the new characters themes are pretty nice somehow lol
Gotta say the armored characters look very good! Besides Ryu, Zero and Spider-Man of course. Looking forward to when you start changing details of the other human characters to fit!

Insane how much better this looks, now all that’s left is the character portraits, maayyyybe some of the sound design (for the most part it’s ok but stuff like gamora’s voice acting needs a do-over), and the hit effects (and Dante’s face lol)
Visually this looks stunning! If I have one minor complaint, it's that this footage is using everyone's MVCI themes instead of older ones... *except* Gamora, who had one of the only original themes in Infinite and happened to be one of the best in the game?!?!?
This is what we should’ve gotten can’t wait to see The finished project hopefully they’ll be able to add Character slots so The Xmen can come back into the game And change the movesets of some of the characters (I.E Black Panther)
@@bluekuma9310 sorry but Capcom was also applied they did not put a huge budget for the game itself besides the majority of the models of Capcom Characters in MVCI like Chun-li come from MVC3 Capcom is also to blame in this story

So that bad look is totally Capcom's fault, there's nothing to defend. Those graphics are bad for the release period compared to other fgs using the same art style, and compared to other Capcom games released around the same time on the ps4.
I think some of it looks good and some of it not. Spiderman looks really weird, and I know dantes face was a nightmare to fix but it's still rough. BUT great work. Looking really nice
The special effects on the special moves (i. e. ryuenjin, unibeam or whatever has flashy effects) look kinda off with the outlines. They look rather dull. Is there a way to take off the black outlines off the special moves only? That way the effects blend better with the moves so that they look less like plastic toys (the moves, and the beams, not the characters) The characters look fine.
Now if they can mod some good characters into it, like the cast of 3...and buff Black Panther's damage. Makes no sense that he's weaker than Chun Li. Dude is JACKED.

The look and overall roster. The hameplay was the best thing about it. But the fact that they cut the X-Men and many others to cator to the MCU. And the overall aesthetic was an instant death blow for the game.
Yeah gotta admit that as much better as they look, the humans with exposed skin look really plastic. Incredible stuff either way but I hope you all find a solution to that.

I wonder if the the dragon punch inputs be worked on as well. I was never a fan of the "Down,Down" inputs.
