If anyone hasn't seen both Weird Science or The Girl Next Door, and loves one or the other, then you have the perfect next movie to watch right there. Both immensely satisfying and memorable for the unique situations and fantasy premise, tackled with more maturity than expected. Just imagine: Kelly and Elisha's characters in the same movie...now THAT would have been something...!
Elisha seems so awesome. I wish I could have met all the cast from girl next door. I was only 10 in 03 at the time but meeting them now would be totally cool not gunna lie. One of my favorite movies because I’ve always dreamed of finding a character that she played. She did it so well. Gullible, silly, smart and just sweet.
The movie never became a box office hit because the market was saturated with many teen comedies, and the marketing for "The Girl Next Door" was awful. The movie became huge cult classic after people rented it on DVD.. I remember watching it, and loving it. Instantly went out and bought the blu ray.. I hope she does some Comic Con's especially in Chicago would love to meet her, and get autograph.

If you think about it "The Girl next door" is a flopped movie ... but it became a superlative adjective to describe someone likeliness and Elisha Cuthbert set the benchmark so high, if the marketing team just did what they need to do "The Girl Next Door" could be a very big franchise movie... you know why ? Why "the girl next door" still gaining popularity up to this day because people are curious if they heard someone describing she's a girl next door .... if you know Love, Rosie Lily Collins thats what happen if Matthew Kidman just run off his feelings to Daniella... The film is a masterpiece they just marketed it wrong .
