This is so cool! My grandson is into RC cars so I'm going to make him either owners manuals for the car bodies he has or repair manuals, whichever way he wants to go. He wants to build out a miniature garage for his cars.
The Happy Place was my favorite read this summer... I keep a scrapbook page of all of my reads but this is definitely something I will do in 2024. I love this so much... My bookshelf will be so cute.
Thanks for the great idea I’m refurbishing my daughters doll house and these would be great to put on a shelf inside using titles from our mini library
Thanks for this video,I want to do this with the books I’ve read! I’m a big reader too,I’ve read 75 so far for 2024! I’m also a scrapbooked and love my cricut!
OMG I love it!!! I have a client of mine that’s an author of 10 books. I was struggling with what to give her for Christmas and BOOM there comes Corinne to my rescue. Can I do this on my StarCraft Solo? If yes, same concept? ❤❤. Thank you so much🎄🎄
I have a Cricut air. I am making the mini books and when I make the foam inserts, the machine cuts 3 times around each one piece. I noticed that your machine does not do this. Is there a setting for this? Your reply is so appreciated along with your helpful videos!
@@CorinneBlackstone Thank you for your quick response. I did select the craft foam option for the material. But, I don't see anywhere to adjust the settings for the foam? I selected and am using a deep cut blade. Could you clarify what you mean "I made the setting to cut the foam"?
@@sharonwbaker4396 the settings are in a different place. They are in the upper right under your name but everything else is the same th-cam.com/video/EXifzZfImu0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Eo0Cc7qMXEiqEg7B
Please help!!! This is the first time using a Cricut and wanting to make these books. I purchased templates on Etsy, how do I take those templates and cut the stickers on the Cricut?
Thank you so much for this. I have wanted to do this for years and followed your video. Question though, I went to print on sticker paper and noticed my "spines" were a lot bigger then yours, I did the 0.5 also. Does that mean I will need more foam? Also if I bring the covers over the spine more will it just print what spine I show? I had 103 books so I had to order more sticker paper. Also, can foam be cut on an Explorer 2 or do I need to hand cut it?
They are the same. you wouldn't do anything different your actions are in a different place. Though truthfully I would not recommend using an Ipad for something like this. The amount of clicks it takes just to get to one function is annoying and this would take so long.
@@marshavenditto1421 honestly no. I wish I could tell you why it does that but it’s sadly likely a bug in their app. I assume you mean the spine is larger once you go to print it?
@@marshavenditto1421 mine is not doing that I just tested it. I would try installing and reinstalling the app. If it’s still doing it you’ll have to reach out to cricut directly

Oh my gosh how fun!!!!
@@CorinneBlackstone He decided on owner's manuals and some magazines. He's going to find the images and send me the links to them. This will be FUN!
Wow, Corinne! This is awesome! Love this fantastic idea!

I use the Eva foam setting

I don’t use Etsy templates. (As you can see) so not knowing what your template is or looks like i can’t really guide you
im sorry if i missed it, but what setting did you use for the foam? thanks love this tutorial
Eva foam

The wider the spine the more foam you will need. The explore can cut foam
where did you go to click view once you added all books to your canvas?
Bottom right corner
I am on book #189 for the year… I might just save this for next year😂😂❤❤
Dang!!! That’s a lot of books! Any favorite ones to share? I’m always looking for new reads!
I don’t understand why the spines are made so wide.
Just how I chose to make them. You can make them thinner if you choose.
❤❤❤
Directions for an ipad please

An ipad is all I have. Doesn’t work, the spine even though I have it same size as book cover is larger on the canvas and mat. Any advice
