He didn't prove congruency. You have to prove that the triangle you constructed is congruent to the triangle that they gave you before you continue proving similarity
Hi Kevin thank you so much i have a question, would i been wrong if i said that since the angles are similar than the side are in proportion, than just find the answer or it can only be done as u showed in the video
Hi kevin💫.I just need some clarity on the word "equiangular" (does it mean that the corresponding angles are equal)and how does this word apply to similar vs congruent triangles? Hope to hear soon 😊.
@@kevinmathscience Wait. So doesnt that mean congruent triangles are also considered as equiangular, because think about it for a moment.... Even though all their angles are the same, in both triangles. They also have the condition of : Matching angles being equal. Soooo, does that mean they also equiangular?
@@Asra_Fareed Yes,congruent triangles always have equiangular angles. However, you will never be asked to prove congruent triangles are equiangular. You'll be asked to prove 2 triangles are congruent. And if they ARE congruent;their angles are equiangular. Hope that clears it up

Why did you prove congruency instead of similarity (the three lines next to each other mean similarity right.)
I too proved similarity! Not sure why he didn't hey

Equiangular means equal angles so is for similarity :)
So if two triangles are equiangular then it means the matching angles are equal to one another.

When we were proving congruency there how do we know that AG=PQ and AH=PR
we making it the same when we construct
What s cute little proof😭
Hello is it corresponding angles or converse corresponding angles
🤣🤣 converse
i also thought about it yaz
Jesus loves you
Can you say that you proving the proportionality theorem here?
Hello :) No this video is proving similarity. The two main topics are similarity and proportionality which are two different topics :)
