Great run. Those gold splits were a palpable tension buildup. I'm honestly surprised you can even pay attention to the stream with the inherent anxiety by the Wily stages.
Hey I unintentionally found a skip for the dust man piston sequence. I don’t really know how it happened but I was shooting through the dust, then I turned spend and the hat guy respawned, I slid through and he shot me at the same time and it pushed me to the end of the entire piston sequence. This might save you some time! Wish I could do it again.
@@COOLKIDbigboy I thought you did, or pretty much, did it (learned 1-6). But that's exactly my intention too (1-6 buster only learning), but not just 1-6, also 7-10 including RM7 and 8 FC. I'd suggest to try it, I'm sure you'd like it. However, bear in mind RM8 FC buster only is very hard to speedrun. The entire game is just full of pits and spikes, and too many enemies that are hard to avoid when you're speedrunning. All enemies and bosses do a ton of damage, while the big energy refill gives only 8 units, not 10. IMO they made it too hard. It's not hard for a casual play, but for speedrunning it definitely is. RM7 is hard too, but still easier. I like buster only speedrunning too (I actually play only "buster only" both casual running and speedrunning, using RM weapons is just not my cup of tea), but unlike you and the leaderboard stuff, I prefer my runs deathless, E-tankless and glitchless (just like it that way, childhood goals and memories), which by default makes it much harder to accomplish. I did a buster speedrun under these rules of MM3 (which I think is the hardest one to do this way) last month, will upload it in a couple weeks. Now practicing your favorite - MM1. The rest are to follow Have you ever played MM9 and 10? Anyway, looking forward to see 4-6 buster speedruns if you decode to do them, specially because all these 3 have much easier bosses than 1-3 so I don't think you'd be taking deaths (maybe in Crystal's stage) or E-tanking much

@@BegUltra i think going top 10 in either game buster only or with glitches is equally as hard, outside just casual play.

It’s better than 5 and 6, IMO.
They pretty much ran out of ideas for Mega Man about halfway through 3, honestly. It would explain why the music is so generic sounding.
