Great video mate! I love Earth-1048 (Insomniac) and its Spider-Man so much I platinum trophied both versions of both games so far. I can't wait to smash SM-2 and after that The Wolverine when that eventually drops! Also for anyone who didn't know the PSVR Iron Man game is set in Earth-1048 too, so we have 2 Spider-Men, an X-Man and an Avenger story in this universe already, so just imagine where it's gonna go in the next decade or so!

The only inconsistent part of the whole story so far is the Spider-Geddon stuff. During the event, Insomniac's Peter sees Earth 1610 Miles in his costume and basically hints he might give Miles a costume of the same design. But in Miles Morales, Peter gives him a baggy version of his own classic outfit before Miles designs his black and red suit on his own. I mean that could just be explained away as Peter only gave Miles a "baby's first super-suit," before giving Miles an updated/possobly upgraded black and red, but it is something to note. Also in Miles Morales, it is made a big deal that Miles is being left alone to protect New York, and it is seemingly the first time he is left alone. But just months prior Peter hopped into an interdimensional portal and left Miles alone for an undisclosed amount of time. I mean the Spider-Geddon events are referenced im the Spider-Man 2 prequel comic so it is seemingly still canon, but these are just some inconsistencies I found between the mediums. I think it is mainly due to Spider-Geddon #0 acting as promotional material for the game when it was coming out, so the events of Miles Morales most likely weren't planned out yet at that point. Back before the first game was released, Bryan Intihar (Senior Creative Director of Insomniac) was asked if Peter had a history with Gwen & he was pretty coy about it. Most likely Gwen is alive in this universe but doesn’t have a history with Peter or Miles.
The Miles book gets so ridiculous that I cant in good conscience consider it canon. And it never being referenced given the stakes of the whole city being…turned into birds

They have changed too much for me to be exited for Spider man 2 ps9 i honestly dont care the first one got me caring enough to buy a ps4 just to play it but this one they changed the face of the first guy some people may be ok with that but im not wasting my time man its dead to me F it wait til the next new spider man game series comes out thats what we have all been doing for years and years anyway lmfao
