    I've always found it funny PJ how your videos had so many haters & dislikes when I found your channel a couple months ago.
    While you speaking whatever you want without any filters or conflict of interests made me laugh and enjoy so much, others kept pressing the dislike and rage-comment buttons, it speaks a lot about them instead of you.
    I'm also on this long & hard path to build a better future, it's inspiring to hear from your case and that unlike popular belief, you have achieved big things coming from nothing.
    Once resources allow them, I'll take your services (my future r8 is waiting for me somewhere, I know it).
    Thanks for your videos & keep them as authentic as always.

    PJ, we all agree its great to be rich, but hard to get there. There is also the component of luck that affects your life. What worked for you probably won't work for others since circumstances and time are different for each. Also your courses are not teaching us to get rich but how to spend the money people might not have
    But this motivation is good

    • @ExoticCarHacks
      @ExoticCarHacks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      It's really hard to stay poor, too. The system is unfair and it's likely going to remain unfair.
      You can try to change it if you want to create more equality, BUT
      Tell me what sounds easier - changing a global system that's controlled by 200 people with immense wealth and power, or just getting yourself wealthy enough that your family doesn't have to suffer when those 200 people exercise their whims to change the world for the poor?
      What worked for me WILL work for others, because wealth creation isn't from one specific business or idea. It's from years of effort trying to figure out how to unlock small bricks of wealth through business, employment, investments, etc. Yes I like cars and watches and teach how to make some money from them to get on a PATH to greater wealth, but plenty of millionaires never dabbled in either field and still are successful.
      The point is that we live in a world that allows more opportunity to get wealthy than anywhere else. If you choose not to pursue it, fine, but that also means you don't get to get mad when the people who did pursue financial independence don't bend over backwards to make your life more comfortable.

    • @JohnSmith-zt1pi
      @JohnSmith-zt1pi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ExoticCarHacks It worked for you because you were smart to take advantage of specific opportunities at the right time. Eg you made some money buying lots and selling them during the heyday. If someone followed you and did that in 2012, it probably wouldn't work. Also everyone had different opportunity costs, circumstances. A guy with a family to feed won't be able to take risk starting a risky business when he has a job with benefits. Also that person might not be street smart to know what opportunities to take advantage of.
      I have always believed in luck playing a big part in everyone's life. I had some shitty luck where everything I tried my hand failed due to external factors that I could not control
      But to each his own

    • @ExoticCarHacks
      @ExoticCarHacks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There are opportunities everywhere. My point is that more come to you when you work smart and hard.

    So, if you had to start over from zero again, what would you do?

    • @ExoticCarHacks
      @ExoticCarHacks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Whatever it takes to get wealthy again.
      BUT - The difference between me "starting over again" and you starting for the first time is that I already have a tremendous amount of skill, experience, and a wide network. If all of my wealth evaporated I'd have it back in 10 years or less.
      What I think you mean is if I had to start from zero today never having had anything to begin with - and I would do what I did the first time.
      This is gonna sound like a platitude but it's not - I would outwork everyone around me.
      I started as a telemarketer at 15. I could have taken the $10/hr base and been happy (was crazy money in 1998) but instead I outworked all the 24-50 year olds on the job by being curious and figuring out what REALLY made someone buy what I was selling (windows roofing and siding) and I found that people who could justify a claim on insurance because it hailed or stormed bad there in the last 12 months closed a lot higher. So I targeted those areas aggressively.
      At 18 I wanted to learn how money worked so I relentlessly pursued jobs at retail banks until I got one. Starting there, I first learned what made the branch profitable so I could be as effective as I could in my position, THEN I figured out where I could bend the rules and innovate to be even better. The top brass noticed and promoted me often, until I got to VP status at 24.
      Every time I got promoted I did the same thing - figured out how to be as good as possible at my job within my job description, then expanded beyond it.
      Money followed that behavior more than any individual investment in the beginning.
      At the same time, I got good at leveraging my money with cars and watches, and took advantage of the real estate boom flipping lots in new developments (i wasn't buying houses, i was only placing deposits and flipping the allocations, so I got more using less).
      Then I got good at teaching others how to succeed in entrepreneurship, cars, and watches.
      Bottom line - commit to the mastery of whatever you are doing, and you'll get paid. Then once you get paid, you can use your money to make more money. Then you get wealthier and meet wealthier people who give you more opportunities.
      It doesn't come in a wave. It compounds like a rising tide. Good luck.

    Been watching you content for the last month and I'm planning on buying my 1st exotic car from a dealership across the country. But before I pull the trigger I want to test drive the similar car I want from my local dealership. Anything that I should know when I go to my local dealership? Or say? I don't want to waste the sales person time since I know im not purchasing it from them.
