    I saw a video where the reborn artist used Clear Nail Hardener on the eyes, to make cheaper acrylic eyes look like top notch expensive ones. The effect was gorgeous.

    How wonderful. Just watched all 11 videos and marvelled at the fact you brought this baby to life and never once put a 'skintone' layer on.

    I like your way of painting, but why did you stop after part 11? I would like to know how you do baby's nails and see a complete doll.

    Using wide bottom glass jars to mix colours and then the lids as palettes seems like a good idea. Thanks

    How many hours between each coating do you recommend before baking? I’m a beginner at reborning and soaking up all the education I need. I love your technique.

    Do you bake the doll with the eyes in? Won’t they melt? Oh they are glass eyes and I guess they won’t melt.

    No flesh tones were added ? Little too mottled for me see them more as undertones . But didn't see the finished product maybe some flesh tones were put on to blend them under. Thanks for the information.

    I’m not sure if anyone else is like me but I tend to drop my sponges and paint brushes a thousand times when I’m trying to paint. It’s so frustrating .

      That series was cut short because of getting ready for a doll show. There are others that go from start to finish. But sadly I didn’t get to finish this set.

    • @enchantedkreaturekitsencha9919
      @enchantedkreaturekitsencha9919  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mindy Loper red heads typically have a blueish undertone to their skin. Almost like the skin is more transparent. They are also paler then every other skin tone. So on my red heads I add a layer of laughter blue mottling and cream mottling to reflect that.
      I have a paper tutorial that walks you through step by step on 4 Caucasian skin tones. One of them is red head. It’s available on my website
      Go to www.enchantedkreaturekits.com/enchanted-store and click the tutorial link if it doesn’t come up on the first page.
      It’s on sale right now through September for 50% off.

    its one method of doing a doll but everyone has to find their own style and technique. Its a shame there is no finished doll to view. I personally think there is too much mottling and too much red bt each to their own
