    Hi there. You don't have issues with video and audio sync? Freezing? Etc. I've taught and taken classes and its pretty crappy on zoom. Though that HD option is something I hadn't noted. I'll have to try that.

    Your video and explanations are excellent! Clear, straightforward, concise, and helpful. Thank you! I am doing the first trial run tomorrow. I have more confidence in ZOOM now. Thank you for emphasizing the importance of wifi speed. I will look into it tomorrow. Pretty sure I need higher speed for streaming.

      That’s soooo good to hear!! This really means a lot. Helping one another is the goal behind all I do here. Yes WiFi is the key. Otherwise after all the hard work it just won’t work, or won’t be optimized

    Hello , I love your videos but I have a question that you may have come across that I have not been able to solve.I have an ipad for Zoom and I wanted to ask what happens if you dont have an advanced setting for sharing content. The drop down screen does not have an advanced option ??. Am I missing something ? Or are Ipads no compatible with all the services that zoom offers. Thanking you advance

    If you set your zoom settings so that the viewers are getting the high quality output sound directly from your computer iTunes, Spotify etc, are the students able to hear your voice and instructions/encouragement at the same time while the music is going on as you speak into the external microphones or the computer mic?

  • @DianneEvans

    I did a line dance session yesterday, I connected my music to my computer by line in, I then joined my own session with mobile, that is the only way I could do it so that they could hear me and I could hear the music. It worked quite well, should be better next time thanks to you because I will change a couple of settings and now know I can mute them all, they are a very chatty bunch ;) The one main observation was when I was dancing in front of them there was a time lag between the music and my movements.....if we can sort that it will be brilliant...Thanks again, you are a star :)

    Is there a way to team teach? Meaning having two instructors being visible to the group. One showing low impact while the other shows advanced move. I know I can spotlight someone that does work for what I’m trying to achieve by doing a full class displaying a split screen with 2 instructors.

    Hi, thanks for this. I have a question concerning the camera view. A computer webcam gives a wide angle and so a lot of side space is viewed rather than the feet, a phone cam usually gives the length needed for a full body view but is not that practical - any chance there's a setting for the webcam to view in length instead of width? thank you

    • @FeisworldMedia
      @FeisworldMedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! You can actually turn the webcam vertical if needed. That'll change the video orientation similar to the phone. I hope I'm understanding it correctly! I use a Logitech.

    Just FYI, ISPs prioritize speedtest.net so that your connection always looks good. It's not a true real-world test. Try fast.com instead, it uses Netflix servers and appears to your internet provider as netflix traffic. It gives a better real-world example of what you're actually getting (hit more info to see your upload speed).

    Thank you for uploading this video, my wife and I are both retired Zumba Instructors and we were looking for a way to live stream the free dance exercise class that she had started for our local community. I did a test already using the free zoom account and the sound was really good with just a little bit of a delay.

    • @FeisworldMedia
      @FeisworldMedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wonderful! To minimize delay, make sure your internet is top speed, check using speedtest.net - from there, ask all your students to turn off audio and video, this will save bandwidth and speed up the experience for everyone. Good luck!

    That's some CRAZY INTERNET SPEEDS that's why you can get the audio to sound great to the conference participants.
    Here in Brazil we have a tenth(1/10) of that If we are lucky.
    I was using this method, but it just doesn't work well so I'm looking for something that would work.

    Hello,
    Thank you for this information, it is very useful. I am a full time fitness instructor and have been teaching Live FB classes with no problem. However, my private clients want zoom classes and I've had some issues with the sound. I teach classes where I need them to hear the music as well as my voice. I did a test with what you suggested and I shared my music and the other participant. She could hear it well, but she could not hear my voice. I've tried several things for the past 2 days and since these Zoom classes will be my only income for a while I really need to get this working. I have a "Blue" microphone that I've tried to incorporate without luck. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us!

    Thank you for your help! Question - do you know how you can sync your Spotify playlist...so that you control the song and your students can play my Spotify playlist on their own with a bluetooth speaker? Currently, we're all trying to press play on my playlist at the same time but of course, some beats are off. Thank you!

      Hi Rose, you can use a secondary monitoring device to hear what your students hear, such as your mobile phone. Another way to sync music perfectly is for everyone to download JQBX, but they do need Spotify account. I'll release a vide on JQBX soon

    Thank you for posting this helpful video. I just spent the last 3 days trying to figure out live streaming for Zumba. We totally crashed using DaCast and rushed to Zoom with lots of chaos not knowing how to set it up. I'll definitely implement your tips for tomorrow's session! BTW how is your upload speed so high? Super succinct, spot-on, and sizzling with secrets. Whoa! This was just what I needed. Questions: (1) Do you suggest we do all the exercises with them or demo and then spot and correct them? (2) When teaching Zumba do you use a different sort of wide-angle lens or Zoom features?

    • @FeisworldMedia

      Great question - you’ll learn a lot along the way and I think every trainer and business is different. It’s a lot to do on your own. If you want to spot and correct - you could be 1/ record the session and send feedback after or 2/ demo and then watch the students perform to give feedback in real-time.

    I have a question about physical classes - like Zumba, Dance, etc, using Zoom. SO FAR, no one has a solution for this! Here is the problem: When I have participants in my Zoom, they can all see each other and me. As the host, I always look "correct" to them. BUT, when I turn it over to another participant to LEAD the class, like in a breakout room, she will look correct to some participants, but REVERSED to others! The mirroring function does NOT fix it - it only fixes your display of yourself. So, it seems that folks with Windows machines look correct to each other, but people with iPads see the "leading" participant or some of the other participants only, as suddenly being in REVERSE direction to them. HOW do you fix that? I tried making that leading participant a "co-host," etc, and NOTHING works. I asked Zoom support weeks ago, and still am waiting for their reply. NO ONE seems to have an answer for this - how to fix it simply - and it is a SERIOUS PROBLEM when teaching physical instruction in Zoom, as it causes confusion, disorientation, and frustration. Any ideas how to solve this??
