Jen, really wanted to hear your story at the end but time's up. There is no way of knowing if god accepts you or not. I would worry about, am I on the good side? or if I prayed hard enough god would give me a nod. All of that frustrated me as a follower. One thing I can say. Now that I don't believe, I see my former congregates and other xtians, look uncertain of their connection and I literally see their faces in a state of fear that I'm glad that I no longer have. I am more comfortable shaking off those feelings. I feel that I know the truth. The xtian god is not real.😊
The United Pentecostal Church International believes in a 3 step salvation. Repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus (only), receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (evidence by speaking in tongues). No other baptism other than Jesus’ name or you don’t speak in tongues, you aren’t saved. In addition to those steps, you have to follow all of their rules for holiness in outward dress, church attendance, tithing etc.

UPCI peeps become disillusioned and/or live in fear because we keep breaking the rules or don’t actually buy into all the hype. The fear is real.
The level of fear tactics is absurd 😮 everything was fear and then the mental gymnastics of the bible. Gates of hell all fear based.😮
