I have a Revox A77 Mk3 which I have fully restored and it sounds magnificent. I can only imagine how stunning this unit is in person. I will keep and eye out for one that I can restore / repair.
Thanks Opozo777 I also have a Revox A77, PR99mk1 & PR99 Mk2 and all the revox machines sound very good but the Studer machines have really superb build quality excellent tape transport and sound sublime This A810 has also be fully recapped, serviced and calibrated by myself.

The oscillating tension arm can be a problem on the A810 but in this case its just the lay of the tape and an eccentric spool. look at my other videos and you wont see it Alan

Right tension arm is oscillating, so that shouldn't be and is a typical Studer fault. Adjust the machine properly or fix this bug.

John My A810 is calibrated to +4dB

you can write to me how you set the bias, I must to calibrated my machine to 4db. it is definitely better with uv meter work
