Fellow twin mum here - Everyone says the same about having twins "oh you have your hands full!" i actually love having twins, ive found it so much easier than i expected it to be and its double the love, double the good moments, double the smiles and cuddles!
My goodness you’re so strong. When you were talking about how you get stuck in the moment you’re feeling and can’t think passed it I felt so close to you. I suffer from panic attacks every day and I felt so heard when you were talking. I don’t know if this helps you out but just know that the panic feeling comes on so fast and so strong and you’re superwoman for getting up afterward and decorating that whole tree yourself! I hope you’re as proud of yourself as I am of you. you’re my role model for times like those

Watching you have a breakdown while I’m pumping and it just brought back memories of the end of my pregnancy. I was SO miserable. Pelvic pain and congestion literally kept me awake at night. I would just cry in the living room while my husband slept. It sucked and it’s mentally draining. But now 7mo later I just look at my son and none of that matters. You can do this, you’ve got this Colleen!!

Adding: You are such an active and attentive mom already to Flynn when you comment and say you feel like you’re lacking at times. You’re critical of your parenting at times because it’s so important to you. Seriously, you are such an attentive mom even in just the short clips we see you are more engaged than most people. But your feelings and worries about it are all still valid. As for after the birth, I think Flynn will really focus a lot on being a helper since he seems to really have that personality. I feel like he’ll be focused on that more than you might imagine. I understand the fear though. Also- totally get the feeling of wanting to be done with pregnancy like forever ago but wanting to incubate a bit longer. My pregnancy was atrocious. And the pregnancy mucus in my nose and mouth was no joke too- nobody talks about that stuff! And I had panic attacks all the time in pregnancy because I couldn’t breathe between baby squishing organs, financial panic, and mucus. It was such a scary feeling. I love being a mom so much and have only ever wanted that growing up but used to cry regretting pregnancy while I’m the midst of it because I couldn’t breathe and because my body literally felt like it was breaking. I had horrible SI joint dysfunction and trying to roll over in bed was the most painful activity- I would scream. Trying to get up was exactly like you described. I’m also a mom who just got diagnosed with ADHD at 31 and understand those challenges too. I say all this so you feel less alone.

That’s so funny you said that because I just got diagnosed with A.D.D and I’m 39! Lol I was misdiagnosed as having anxiety and tried every medication there is and nothing was helping and then we figured out that maybe the anxiousness was due to having ADD and it not being treated so the doctor prescribed me meds for ADD and now I feel AMAZING! and normal again!!
Wow pregnancy always already scary but now it is terrifying. Women are so amazing for being able to go through that journey. Incredible is an understatement.
When you broke down and said it feels like you’re suffocating in your body i never wanted to just hug someone more. ❤️ You’re doing so amazing for being 8 freaking months pregnant with twins and being the best mama to Flynn.

When I was prego with twins, I had to leave work at 5 months because I went into early labor. They put me on a bunch of magnesium and said I need to sit down or I'd end up on bed rest. I had them at 36 weeks but the last 3 months were awful because I just felt like I couldn't possibly get any bigger..lol. I WAS HUGE!! You can do this Colleen!!

Hire a mommy’s helper if you need to! One baby is enough work, too is more! Even a few hours a day so you can get out or something and not feel like you have to rush back to help Eric lol

I feel you Colleen. I'm a "go, go, go" type of person the hardest part about being pregnant for me was not being able to physically do things that I wanted/ needed to get done. I am 4'8" and was 100lbs before being pregnant. I gained 50lbs during pregnancy so I literally could not even do the simplest task like drive anymore because my belly was so big. It will be over soon! **HUGS**
Colleen, you are doing so incredibly well with everything. Being pregnant is hard work and it’s doubly hard to be pregnant with twins! You’re so right that this will pass, but it’s okay to grieve in the moment and let the sadness run its course. You’re so strong. I’m so proud of how you persevere 💖

Whenever I’ve faced really difficult things in my life and thought “there’s no way I can do that”, I end up somehow doing it and getting through it. When the twins come you’ll adapt, if anyone can do it, you can. I’m always amazed by how good you are with Flynn, how you genuinely love spending time with him and playing with him, you’re an incredible mother. When the twins arrive you’ll do great! Also you’re so close to being done, hang in there 💕
I’m 33 weeks and so over this pregnancy and I only have 1! Couldn’t imagine with 2. You got this mamma! ♥️♥️

I feel for you both (Madison and Colleen)! My pregnancies were painful and high risk, I couldn't walk or be off bed rest for some of them. Being in pain and having those worries is so difficult. I want to encourage you that you can do this and that things will work out 💕

All this pain ur feeling is almost over. You got this! I can feel ur pain when you cry… Ik it’s hard to find motivation to do anything when it’s consistent pain but that’s completely okay. The twins will be able to go back and watch how much you went through to be able to bless them with the gift of life:)

I know you’ve tried everything to help with your breathing but just in case try munching on ice the cold near the roof of your mouth should help with the nasal swelling as well as ice packs right on your nose. I know that’s only temporary but something is better than nothing. So proud of you and I want you to know you are so strong. I'm a mother of two and I had a lot of your same feelings and fears. You are definitely not alone in any of those. You are also not weak or dramatic! Pregnancy and motherhood are two of the most incredible and CHALLENGING things a human being can experience in a lifetime. You are an amazing mother and person Colleen. Everything will be ok and fall into place. You are going to have to find your groove with 3 babies just like you did with 1. Yes, it will be a bit harder, but that just means it will also be even more rewarding. You also have an amazing support team around you. Don't be afraid to ask for help and lean on them when you need to. You got this! Love you so much and I'm so happy and excited for you guys!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Remember that this isn’t going to last forever, and I love that you share how you feel! You will look back on this moment and you will be happy that you put through with all of this.
