今から遡ること15000年前、大陸から稲作が伝わった弥生時代よりも前に、
約14000年続いた縄文時代があったことをあなたは知っているだろうか？
私たちが教科書で習った原始的な縄文時代ではなく、縄文土器、縄文土偶、竪穴式住居、高度な天文学、太陽の位置による季節の把握を熟知し、現代から見ても高度な技術と自然観に根付く思想をもっていた縄文人がいたのだ。
これは決して妄想などではなく、各遺跡の発掘、
また現代遺伝子解析やDNA解析で事実として明らかになってきているものだ。
現代では、前衛芸術の岡本太郎氏が縄文土器を芸術の高さで絶賛し続けていたこと。
また、最近亡くなった世界的音楽家の坂本龍一氏が晩年日本各地の縄文遺跡を周遊してインスピレーションを得ていた。
そして世界的デザイナーの三宅一生氏も縄文のコスチュームでパリコレでインパクトを与えたことは記憶に新しい。
我々縄文道研究所は、縄文アイヌ会、各研究部会とも協賛して、これから14000年のまだ一般には知られざる縄文の英知を紹介していこうと思う。

We, the Jomon Dou Research Institute, cooperate with the Jomon Ainu Association and various research groups.
