Hello My Friends I really enjoy Ian's videos. The cinematography is excellent, and he handles the subjects with intelligence and insight. He doesn't clown around, and act silly like some other producers of garden railway videos. Most excellent! Jack
beautiful....I know of a place on the net which has fotos of 1890s-1900s railways in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan...small logging trains, copper lines and so forth...nice to be able to change it when you move house....cool and you have a young fellow eager to take on the job...my son and I did the same but only on a 4x8 piece of plywood !
Ive registered with U tube just so I can post a comment on this little film that I watched this afternoon. At last a 16mm railway running at a proper railway~like speed! Kerry cattle special looks particularly good. Ive used one of those gel pens in white or cream to put tare weights and wagon numbers on the rolling stock . Helps make the High Down Light Railway live alittle more. Love the desolate ,empty platforms too !
Very nice photage and commentary, thanks for sharing! I am curious about the goods cars that appear after 6:30. Could you please share the manufacturers name?

It's a bit of library music that I managed to find - annoyingly I can't remember the title but it's royalty free and msade for use in films like this.
whats the music which is run throughout most of the video? Andy
