bob, I was wondering if you could speak about cervical spine degeneration for us that are trying to manage cervicogenocal headaches I would really appreciate that
i have a sequestered disc bulge that migrated cranially between L5-S1 and L4-L5. I have zero pain, just some discomfort and numbness in my glute and hamstring, i have no muscle activity in my calf, and my heel and outer foot is very numb. I can't get any power plantar flexion. But i have no pain at all. None in my back, but i do get pain if i try to stretch my hamstring. I dont know what to do. Doctors obviously recommended surgery but also said i could wait 6-8 weeks and it might heal itself. My loss of motor function in the calf, they said could be permanent right now, or could come back, and even with surgery if they took pressure off the nerve that the motor function might not come back. I dont know what to do lol. Smh
I would suggest to take this seriously and get some help and don't wait !! if you don't make some action now the motor function in the calf it may never come back. All the best. Bob
@RoBDeeZL42 you need to make a decision to either go for surgery or start your rehab plan right away. No bed rest and waiting !! Having said that nighter of the options above gonna guaranty you will get the full function of the calf !!
@@bobthephysio Yes this is similar to what the doctor told me. That i could have surgery but it might not even fix the problem. That is my dilemma. Thank you for your response.
