This video is a tiny sneak peek into our Dental Assisting - Patient Exam module. Each module doesn't only have a video, but also has simulations where you can learn and practice the procedure interactively, step by step, then test your skills. On top of that you'll get an illustrated text description of the skill or procedure to read, a 3D model of relevant anatomy or equipment to explore, and a multi-choice quiz. All activity and scores are tracked in your personal logbook, so you can see your progress over time.

What exactly is simtics about? I went to dental assisting classes back in 2012 and I never actually got an opportunity to get a job for dental assisting . Now I want to get back into it. I do have all my dental certificates but I forgot a lot of stuff….

Hi there! SIMTICS could offer a good way for you to get back up to speed with chairside and x-ray procedures. Most of our customers are schools, however we do offer subscriptions for personal study. Each module covers one procedure and includes text that describes the procedure, a video demonstrating the procedure, anatomy images in 2D and a 3D model to help you refresh your knowledge, a simulation so you can walk through the procedure interactively and then test your competence.
