Great video. Gives me confidence that I can do this. You mentioned that you did the rear at 15k miles but waited till 40k for front? Is there a reason? I have a 24 CT and it says change both at 30k.
I requested my CVT fluid be changed at 15k, but they wouldn't do it. After talking with the service guy, he said he would do it if they combined it with another item. Basically up selling me. 30k is a good time to do both. Thanks for the visit. You can definitely do it!
So is the differential in the front in the transmission and is it the same fluid I have a 2013 Subaru legacy and my boy told me it was but I was wondering if it was a different service from the transmission fluid change?
How hard was that t70 to break? the one on my 5mt would not budge, ugga dugga'd it with a 300ft/lb impact for like 20 seconds and couldn't break it free. Was thinking I had to apply heat to break the loctite.
Surprisingly it was pretty easy with the breaker bar. The rear diffs were more of an issue, It felt like they put more loctite on those. Instead of an impact, perhaps try a long breaker bar? Good luck!
@@aebelskiver will you get some kind of oil analysis done? Indeed, I didn't think it would have been that noticeable! Let us know how your diff fluid change goes. Cheers!

You are so kind helping the wrong-way girl. Isn't there a sign at the end of the road saying wrong way?
Uh yeah! There is a sign. I don't know how she managed to get where she was. She needed to be at the bottom lol.
What are the gold braces? They look good, looks like they bridge a pretty large gap.
These are TB performance "traction bars*, upgraded from OEM suspension support brackets.

If it is a CVT, then the fluid for the transmission is separate from the front Differential.

Now I am going to check that my fluid is 100% synthetic, thanks Jason
I like that you could pick up on the difference after changing them,

How long does the front diff last?
Recommended fluid change interval is 30k miles. 🙂
