    Sorry, the video is too long but I hope it's helpful!
    Are there any other topics related to the Netherlands that you would like to learn more about?

    Thanks, this is very useful and I hadn't heard of Numbeo so I checked that out. I love the way your cycle and train everywhere, that's what we do and why wouldn't everyone🤷‍♂?

      Nice! Glad it helped. The Numbeo is really useful.
      I think most of the people I know in the Netherlands do this every day. In many other countries where I lived, it was simply dangerous.

    Whoah, you have a beautiful appartment! Haveing to bicycle 30 minutes to the city center isn't that bad (unless it rains, LOL), also gives nice body exercise every day! Thanks for the video.

    Price of beer: A pint of European lager can cost as low as €0,80 (including statiegeld) at an ALDI. Compare that to €10 some premium cafe's dare to ask for the same amount of beer!

      I just heard on TV that the tax on alcoholic beverages will be raised in 2024, some 15%!

    • @dpashutskii
      @dpashutskii  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's correct. Mass produced lager usually doesn't cost anything. Especially if you buy in bulk like boxes or crates.
      Craft beer on the other hand is quite expensive, starting at €4 per small can even at the store, and getting to €10 mark at the craft bars.

    • @dpashutskii
      @dpashutskii  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Correct, I read that alcohol duties are about 9% higher.

    Hi. Great video. I noticed you didn't change the cost of rent for a single person. Do you guys pay 1670 each or 1670 divided by the 2 of you?

    • @dpashutskii
      @dpashutskii  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks!
      I didn't because the cost of the rent is 1670 in total. So no matter how many people live in the apartment you'll pay 1670 :)

    Well done. We would spend about the same. On the long run, you will have to include clothing, shoes, furniture etc. It might be cheaper not to have dental insurance and pay this out of the pocket if your teeth are not too bad. Living in a major city, you have access to quite frequent public transport. Living in more regional areas, you will spend less on rent but you will likely need a car. Finding housing is essential before moving to NL. Best investment if you remain in the Netherlands: Buy a house.

    • @dpashutskii
      @dpashutskii  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, purchases are different for everyone so I didn't included it. For my case, paying from the pocket would be way more expensive for dentist but it could be the case for some people. Agree about buying a house!

    Hmmm, minimum wage as a general labour work you make like 2400 euro, me who is going to move there through job agency, probably gonna make 1800 euro a month or less, how the hell can a single person survive?

    • @dpashutskii
      @dpashutskii  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is an entry salary for any career. It usually salary of the people who just graduated. They usually rent shared rooms and work on increasing their salary.
      €1800 is, to be honest, ridiculously low salary for Holland, even for students. It depends on the area but I think average salary is around €2800.

      It seems like some of those job agency take advantage from the fact that you're an expat. Why not just find the job yourself and use all your experience to land the same level position as you worked before? Unless of course, the skills are not transferable to another country.

    • @dpashutskii
      @dpashutskii  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's incorrect. You don't need to show 3-6 months salary bank statement from the previous months. Only your contract.

      @@dpashutskii what kind of the contract can have new immigrants who never been before in NL and without even BSN?

    • @dpashutskii
      @dpashutskii  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      New immigrants require to get BSN number in 4 days after arrival. Work contract you're getting even before you move to the country. The contract types are the same as for everybody else. Who cares if you've been in NL if it's a work contract?

    In Eschede how much is required for rent?

    • @dpashutskii
      @dpashutskii  ปีที่แล้ว

      Enschede is much cheaper than The Hague, but I wouldn't expect it goes less than €800-1000. It's hard to find anything less than that anywhere in the Hague, unless it's the room.
      You can check yourself some options on funda.nl. Just pick Enschede as the city.

    Even if you earn 100K, that rent in NL is way too much. Food, car, basic stuff is too expensive

    • @dpashutskii
      @dpashutskii  ปีที่แล้ว

      I live very comfortably with way less. It always depends on specific person. There are people who earn millions and stay in debt.
      If someone is earning 100k and has issues with money, I'd recommend getting into personal finance.
