Thank you @adventure390hyd for this. I used this solution and it has worked for me. My bike had the same issue where it would stall in 3rd or 4th gear especially when the revs are high and you pull the clutch. While I checked the switch it was in the correct "7" position, what I observed was that the white slider was not sliding very smoothly. On closer inspection I realised that the lubricating grease had become very thick/almost vanished and was not providing any lubrication to the slider. Additionally there was a lot of dirt which had accumulated on the switch itself. I thoroughly cleaned the dirt both from the housing, slider and the switch, lubricated the slider path with some grease and refitted. Post that the stalling issue has completely gone. I am not sure if there is a connection but the quick shifter has also become more rrsponsive now. Its just the second day that I am testing and i have ridden almost 60 kms all in city traffic with no stalling. After you clean the switch you will get a distinct clicking sound while you press and depress the clutch, which will tell you that the switch is working properly. So please go ahead and try this simple process of slider position change OR switch cleaning and I am sure it will help, before you start cleaning throttle bodies/fuel lines/fuel filter/plug/plugcaps etc. Which i have done ✅ with no effect. I have also given my feedback to the local KTM workshop and hopefully it will reach the tech team.

@@adventure390hyd2 You seems to have found the issue much before the KTM engineers have done. This week a modified clutch switch has been made available to workshops by KTM and have been advised to change it for all ADV 390 vehicles. The major modification to the switch is that the white slider is now "spring loaded" which will help it come back to the default position post operation. So you are credited to finding the root of the problem first mate🙂. My vehicle is in service for this change. I will post an update on this thread so it benefits everyone.

if its stalling only in first gear in low speeds.. then it's not actually an issue.. the bike's gear ratio in itself was set by the company to come with less torque in lower gears.. so a better clutch wire adjustment with a slight change in dropping style will make us not face it...

Stalling by this faulty clutch sensor was just one out of few reasons which occurred in initial batches..
Other 2 things u need to get checked is spark plug and then throttle body change under warranty if it's just under 6 months old bike or under 10k kms..
If it's above mentioned kms or age then just get it cleaned by some kind of cleaning spray they use in service center ur issue will resolve...
If ur problem still persists then changing fuel pump along with fuel filter is the next step...
If it still persists then contact ur ktm area service manager who heads the entire district he will further look into it n give u a suitable solution..
