The first ballad in the history of Symphonic Metal. It's singing in an ancient dead language, the lyrics are about magic and esotericism, I definitely didn't expect a reaction to this song... it's so unusual.
I just saw this masterpiece live last night with Therion alongside a full orchestra and choir. What an experience! Such a beautiful and powerful ballad.
This is the ballad from the the FIRST symphonic metal album released, an album that therefore changed music... I suggest you to react to "To Megatherion" (this same album) to find the heaviness you were expecting... Cheers from Spain...
Therion - Theli one of the greatest albums of all time... now you´ve done it... lured me in with a heilung reaction and now this.... yYou leave me NO other choice.... Subscribed....
This song is in the Akkadian language that was spoken in Mesopotamia(where nowadays Iraq and Syria are) and if I recall correctly the last known register of such language dates from the 1st century AD being slowly replaced in Mesopotamia by Aramaic. Therion is one of those band where each of the albums is a different adventure. But if you enjoy more the dreamy songs that allow you to "travel in them", then songs like Lemuria, Perennial Sophia, Birth of Venus Illegitima,Adulruna Rediviva might be in your interest. However you should try To Mega Therion and check another side from Therion a bit more heavy(in terms of what people usually expect in a metal song) but nothing that hard to the ears.
Awesome!. Didn't expect this to end up on YT as you're not a long son fan, Lol. Definitely lots of great Therion songs to explore if you want too. I can suggest Eye Of Shiva and Son Of The Son which are two excellent ones and a lot shorter. 😉
I recommend these Therion songs to react: A Black Rose Adulruna Rediviva Asgard Clavicula Nox Draconian Trilogy Gothic Kabbalah Kali Yuga III Kings Of Edom Land Of Canaan Midgard Nightside Of Eden Sitra Ahra Son Of The Staves Of Time Son Of The Sun The Rise Of Sodom And Gomorrah
Another band and song that I do not know about. Thanks Rana for exposing me to this music. Congrats on your final exam EVER. I know it has not been easy but YOU DID IT!! You are a amazing woman. You inspire me to be better. I look forward to seeing what the future has in store for you❤
They took a risk making this album, and it seriously paid off! In the Desert of Set was my introduction to Therion on this album. I've been a fan ever since it came out in the 90s.
I've heard this song multiple times, but today, after hearing Helloween - 'A tale that wasn't right' I can hear some similarity... listen to the part at 1.45-1.55, it's just as the intro to the Helloween song. No matter, this song is awsome!
great reaction girl... i like therion try with the song perennial sofia of gothic live or just any song of this concert pure gold y hope you enjoy. cheers from chile
Therion is easily one of the most interesting metal bands out there, started with Death Metal, slowly incorporated symphonic elements and they pioneered Symphonic Metal This is a ballad from their album Theli, if you want something more "typical" from them give a shot to To Megatherion, Cults of the Shadow, Typhoon, Son of the Sun or Son of the Staves of Time
It is sung in the in the ancient Akkadian language. It is a pity that we can't see who the singers are. It is normally Lori Lewis with Thomas Vikström, Mts Levin, Snowy Shaw or Katarina Lilja or any of a dozen others.

Although the sound quality is usually better with a studio recording, Therion is often more interesting if you can find a decent live version of whatever song you are listening to.

I would introduce criminal penalties for those who, when creating a reaction to a piece of music, pause the track upon first listening, breaking its integral perception

Nice to see, that you're like it. You have a good taste of music.
This I really enjoyed. I heard their album Wildhoney a while back and liked that as well.
Isn´t "Wildhoney" a Tiamat album
@@Moja421 Yes it is probably their most well known album.
@@markpalavosvrahotes5575 not a Therion album

Therion 👏
Theli, the first album of Therion as Symphonic Metal. I love this band
Therion - Birth of Venus Illegitima live in Poland is my favourite from them.
great reaction girl... i like therion try with the song perennial sofia of gothic live or just any song of this concert pure gold y hope you enjoy. cheers from chile
The lyrics are in ancient extincted Sumerian language in that song.
as a fan of Therion this is the slowest song please do more songs or albums
I love this song but definetly I think isn't a good one to start with Therion tbh xD

You should try the blood of Kingu
"Siren of the Woods" live in greece is great!
Therion live is a must to see, next time try a live performance as they are using different vocalists, normally two male and two females.
I'm not at all familiar with Symphonic Metal, but i really liked the guitar solo.
This is the ballad of the album. Try To Mega Therion or Cult of the Shadow song (or both). It will blow you. 🙂
Beauty TherioN exelent band is opera symphony metal Sublime,..albums exelents please more reaction album TherioN 😌 ❤thank you

Therion invented the genre of symphonic metal and it all started with this album
👍😎🇺🇲
This album is the birth of a symphonic metal genre.
Money talks 😂

I don't know if you did already, but I'd love to see you react to "Hasta Que Te Conocí" by Juan Gabriel live from Bellas Artes❤
