Yep, got my MN 99s a month ago, very happy with it. Already started with the improvements. Installed wheel weights and foam in the tires, upgraded servo horn and steering linkeage to metal and modified a bit the steering rod joint to reduce the steering bump effect. Added rear windows (made of clear hard plastic sheet a.k.a. perspex). Today I made two side doorsteps out of a 2mm aluminium sheet, quite happy with the result. Next mod is I will try to fit a low kv, size 2430 or 2435 brushless motor instead of the original brushed one, and replace the reciever and ESC so that I can use my personal transmitter. I will try to keep the original single speed gearbox, bit I am not sure whether the new motor will fit, as it is slightly longer. Will see how it goes :-) Happy new year rich in rc'ing to all rc enthusiasts!

Hey i have the same RC but i think MN is ripping us off for the 99 because the only difference is the body. This models says it has full metal parts, it doesn't!
99s has soft tires, 260 motor, lights, metal diff. gear, proportional steering and throttle and 1200mAH battery (although in reality it does not take more than 600 or 700mAH of charge :-) at least the ones I got do not. Add wheel weights and foam in the tires, that is the no.1 essential mod for better performance.
