I used White Dove on my entire home - walls, ceilings, doors, trim...even my upper cabinets (with wood lower cabinets and black hardware throughout). It leans the tiniest bit warm but with no overt yellow or red tint. It's perfect.
Watching you - I know you are over Chantilly Lace. However, as a white with no undertones, I love it for the Ceiling and trim. I did one room with it and have the doors to do still and you can really see the difference. I put color on the walls and it works. It takes on some of the color and I love it. I am going to do the rest of my home, I have 20' vaulted ceilings, will go with Chantilly Lace Ceiling & Trim and settled in with White Dove on the walls to break up the stark white. Hearing your side whisper, Chantilly Lace, I knew you were speaking to me.
I have a fixture upper. Did White Dove in two bedrooms with Chantilly Lace for trim and ceiling, hickory floors. I love the look! White Dove almost looks like a pale cream but without the yellow, next to Chantilly Lace. Isn't Baby Fawn the same as Edgecomb Gray? I like that one too. I was looking at Mt .St. Anne. Almost did it in a bathroom but went with Healing Aloe instead. Looking at Beach Glass for the dining room. I'm afraid Mt. St. Anne might be too dark. I'll have to pull out my sample again. The current color in the dining room is 2 shades of brown painted over wallpaper! Can't wait to get rid of it!
I just painted a whole bedroom White Dove. Painted all the walls, doors and trim in eggshell. I really like it. I wish i did the celing too. It feels so soft and fresh.
I’m wondering if you could address a few things for other videos. Like furniture painting, lime wash, milk paint, chalk paint. Particularly I’m wondering about a exterior White House paint that absorbs sunlight so that it is not so bright in its reflection to blend with my existing paint. Also wondering if you would ever talk about Ralph Lauren, textured pants? And classic colors of France, England and perhaps early America. Because I’m fascinated by French off white, almost pink?, grey & blues. Then England always has these standard colors and ways in which they paint the wainscoting and trim. I think it would be interesting to speak of these. And comparable US options because I can’t find them in the US.
Used this beautiful white for my ceilings, cabinets and trim in my new home. Might use it for my interior doors as well. I’m looking for suggestions. I love it ❤
It’s a beautiful color. I’m still currently repainting the entire inside of my home. When I was deciding what color to choose I ordered a plethora of white peel and stick paint samples. I moved them around different times of the day. In my home White Dove went a little too yellow for my liking. I ended up choosing Simply White. The ceiling is ultra flat, walls are matte and all the trim including doors is satin.
If I don’t have much or any natrual sunlight in my flat should I go for white dove or simply white for all my walls? I want to pair it with grey sofa and carpet
I did most of my condo walls in BM White Dove with Behr Ultra Pure White on the trim. It shouldn't work but it does. I get north light and this color combo works perfectly with my natural red oak floors. My open kitchen is light wood lower cabinets with white uppers and all it works together. It's a very calm comfortable pallet.
Looking for a white to go with cool furnishings (blue and blue grays) Cabinets are white and white countertops with gray flecks. I am wanting to lighten up the house. I currently am using Sherwin Williams reflection LRV66 and it is dark and shows more blue then gray. I am at a loss.
White Dove is a magical color. I’ve used it as ceiling, trim, cabinets and doors with both linen white walls (more yellow) and Opal walls (more pink). Love it.
be careful not to confuse it with Behr's Dove. Man, i put that in a north-facing room and it is really cold. it only looks nice with my warm lightbulbs on. going to paint over Dove with a coral so it always feels bright and warm in the small dark room.
Hi. From Norway. We dont have Benjamin Moore, but i would really like to try out BM White Dove and SW Iron Ore. Is it posible to have them made here? Or could you tell me which colour from Jotun Lady i could use, to match as closely as posible? Btw- is BM white Dove and SW Iron Ore a good match together? Thanks for really good explanations in your videoes☺️ Marit🪴🖌️
Any suggestions for a white spray paint that closely matches White Dove? I’m needing to spray ceiling speakers (Yes I’ve looked into custom ordering matched spray online but it seems a bit pricey and I only need a few cans.)
I’m down to white dove or creamy SW for my whole interior . Would these being creamy whites look good in bathrooms that have light gray and or white marbled tiles? I need to decide soon if I pick cooler white for all our bathrooms or stick with the creamy white that I’m doing through the whole house Help 🙏🏻
Love this video. How can you help me lighten my north facing window walls. I have brown now and wsnt lighter warm earthly tone … I’m so confused on what to choose. Want more cream, beige?
"Hi, what would be the best off-white color (make the whole room looks brighter and bigger, not yellow ish) to use if I have already painted the trims with White Dove?" Also, I am planning to use the same off white color for my entire house,
I like your videos and appreciate your advices. It helped me a lot. I painted master bedroom and attached bathroom in White Dove and I don’t like it at all! I find this colour as unpleasant nasty yellow, not creamy at all but almost glowing bright yellow undertone. It looks so cheap and more over it hard to work with (needed at least 3 layers to cover 5 years old white paint)😢

I'm looking to paint my entire house. White Dove or Swiss Coffee ? Which goes better with bamboo hardwood floors ?
I'd like opinions on these two wall colors too and best trims for each. Natural oak floors in matte finish.
By chance which did you choose ?

do the ceiling! close the envelope!
We just committed to this. I hope it is as good as the vid and comments say it is.
I'm leaning towards White Dove to be a secondary color to BM Dakota Shadow which I am loving right now.
My favorite white. White Dove upped the look of my hallway.

I painted my entire home with White Dove. I love it! It is warm without pulling yellow. It is a beautiful background for my fine art collection.

I have been using Valspar's Dove White for my kitchen walls. I get it in Behr paint. I love it. Many whites look too gray and dingy.

I really like Deer Trail! Thank you!!
No doubt about it, White Dove is gorgeous. I'm torn between it and SW Alabaster.
Same! Have you chosen one?
White dove is the perfect white!! I have to say though, dove wing is also just 😍😍😍😍 I literally obsess over those two colors
I used white dove on my kitchen walls and and Chantilly lace on my upper cabinets. I love it. And trim.

White Dove is my all over ceiling color. In both warm and cool wall colors. I will use it for my trim as well.
Question can I use Matt paint on walls and ceiling ? Have done this in recent projects ? How about Matt on trim and doors ?
I have a white sectional in my living room that will be up against the wall. I'm worried Dove White will be too white. What do you think?
Love white dove❤
I’m loving this pallet, James!

try swiss coffee or linen white
Can you do heron plume by Sherwin Williams next please ?
White Dove has been the number one for a very long time. We’ve had it in every house we’ve owned.
Baby fawn is nice too

Thanks for a great video, James! Kendall Charcoal is beautiful. Baby Fawn is nice too! Mount St Anne is always lovely 🩵
Why the shade for Chantilly Lace? LOL.. what did I miss??
