- Action packed day deep sea fishing for Marlin on the SHOTSKI Sportfishing Viking Yacht. The day began out of the Sunset Marina in OCMD before the sunrise. We made it out as the sun came up where we began off shore fishing for Blue Marlin and White Marlin. We were trolling for blue marlin and white marlin in hopes to catch and release as many as possible. Thank you again to the Schell Brothers for the opportunity and Jill for coordinating everything! The whole experience was very much appreciated as this was my first time billfishing!

Hahaha I was gassed out in a 6 minute fight! Can't imagine fighting a tuna for 2-3 hours. Hopefully I experience that soon this year!

@@OutdoorsInMaryland I remember going as a child but not for any big game fish. It was really an incredible experience and after doing it, I recommend paying for a charter to do it! And then cross your finger that the fish are biting that day!

People have no idea! I didn't until that day. The fuel alone is out of my price range. The outrigger units are like $7-$10k each. I don't even wanna talk about the boat price. Boat slip. Custom rods. That's why it was I am super appreciative and very grateful for the opportunity

Tightlines and be safe out there. Been to many and the #1 item and really the only thing on my bucket list is to fish the Open one day. My dad caught his WM at the Jackspot the year I was born in 1970, lol yeah I’m old😂
That's so cool and yeah and fishing the open would be an amazing experience. I hope you get to make that a reality one day!
