Thanks for a great video. Very helpful in my travel planning. My country is usa- my tip is to not waste your time here. Too many other countries with less controversy and beautiful environments.
Hi amazing video thanks for sharing. I got one question do you pre book hotels on different islands or just go to island and find hotels. Can you help me please. Thanks a lot
Well it’s different depending on the islands, if they are in same atoll you can go directly. Check out my Maldives travel guide it provides a lot more detail
thanks so much for sharing this useful experience. Have been looking only at the crazily priced resorts last few days and now thinking to combine with the amazing local islands!
Thank you. It is the monsoon time period, I went towards the end of April going into May, which is a little unpredictable. I also recommend checking below video for more details: th-cam.com/video/tT9qgAKe-O8/w-d-xo.html
Nice vlog and beautiful islands, i have questions bro, does Maldives allow to travel with the drone if I’m coming the airport? What drone did you use? I want buy one? Thanks
@@brownboytravels your videos been helping me plan my trip to Maldives...I never thought of staying on local island versus resorts...I can now afford the Maldives thanks to your videos! Now can we do a day trip at a resort...I'm sure for a fee? That would really be nice as well...anyways this was much appreciated
Yes you can definitely do that and it is a bit steep depending on the resort. Some allow it, some don’t. I highly recommend checking the Maldives country guide, it has a lot more information as well as how to plan Maldives trip
Well the only way is to go to Male and then take another boat from their to Eydhafushi and then a transfer or getting to Male and taking a flight from Male to Dharavandhoo The cost is variable you need to check wrong he guest houses
hello. how much were the sea excursions, typically? did you book private ones or did you join a group? also, the manta ray encounter you had in malos, is it also possible to have the same experience from fulidhoo or maafushi? thanks you.:)
The excursions are different based on island and number of experiences. I don’t think Fulidhoo side is good for Manta rays, not entirely sure though honestly. I didn’t see anyone offering it there. For more information check the Maldives travel guide you’ll get a lot more information in there especially about excursions, times, hotels etc 😊
I have some vegan friends and they arranged some beans etc to go with them, most islands have rather basic food and one or 2 restaurants but I don’t think you will have problems finding vegetarian food, vegan is harder. It’s also easy to ask them to make food for you just be realistic what you will find as most of the stuff comes from capital on boats
Wch island is easily reachable fulidhoo or dhifushi via public ferry.... Also planning to travel in January end, wl get d ferry aftr reaching der or it gets full by morning?
@@brownboytravels i Ask because a friend was at a resort and brought back sand in a bottle. It was harsh and rough.... are the resorts man made islands ?
Such a beautiful place! What bag did you use for this travel? Have you tried using a duffle bag for your travel? I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane. I've been using this bag for months now and it is such a hack. It has a trolley sleeve feature and it fits under the seat too! makes your travel more convenient and effortless and it packs like a suitcase too!

Amezing and beautiful Beach of Maldives
How did you transport from one island to another?
From Fulidhoo, I took a shared boat to make and then another boat to a Maalhos. From Maalhos the boat to Kamadhoo is easy, you can also fly
Very informative video.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
👏👏👏
Is there a MTCC ferry from maafushi to fulidhoo?
I’m sure there is but I’m not sure if t is running right now, when I went all public ferry services were almost suspended
