Swedish browser start page at 01:14!?! I had to stop, rewind, and double check … and yes, it is. Any particular reason, if I may ask? Found the answer on the channel’s About page. I had no idea you were based in Sweden. Thanks for the good contents and a “hej” from the southern end of the country. Adobe Color is a great tool. I’ve been using it since it was launched as Kuler.
This tip will be very helpful for our team whose focus tends to be more mathematical, less visual 😞. Also, I'm now justified in whining about temperature now that I know it's colder here (high -1 ℃ today) than it is in Sweden! 😮 Thank you, Ruth!
I love it, thanks for sharing. can I ask which designing tools you are using for making more effective reports? I am using Figma and affinity designer. they helps me a lot to improve my reports.
Hi Ruth, It's again helpful as usual. I am a PBI developer in a company and we get specified requirements to develope and sometimes its upto me to decide to create visuals. so question is How do you get inspiration to create reports when there is no specified requirement.?
But picking only 5 is too little. I like to have a palette of darker and lighter colors and have them power bi generate the rest. Normally I pick 10 colors
Thank you for this Ruth!!😁😊More please!!
Will do 👏👏

That is what the tool will help you with, try it :)

Hi Ruth,
It's again helpful as usual.
I am a PBI developer in a company and we get specified requirements to develope and sometimes its upto me to decide to create visuals. so question is
How do you get inspiration to create reports when there is no specified requirement.?
Good question, a variation of techniques depending on the company. Should I make a video on that?
@@CurbalEN Yes please!
@@CurbalEN Definitely
Please make a video
Noted!
@@CurbalEN Please
Still confused when I deal with colours , but it’s more a kind of experience, this video will certainly contribute..
The more I learn, the more I will show you :)
I am very bad at design and making things look pretty. My brain doesn't do pretty. Thanks anyway for trying to help.
I also struggle! Taking some design courses right now to get better. Will let you know what I learn, as I learn it :)
You dont need to pick the colors in different lightnesses. PowerBI will give 5 levels for each color
But picking only 5 is too little. I like to have a palette of darker and lighter colors and have them power bi generate the rest. Normally I pick 10 colors
