Dami ko din memories with Pajeros, naalala ko ganyan family car namin until I graduated. Pang hatid sundo sa amin sa school. We sold the car back in 2014, kamusta na kaya yun.
My ex used to also drive one back then, dami namin intimate moments sa sasakyan na yun. 😂 Recently saw that car a few months ago outside a hospital where her mother is a resident derma. Ironically, during my wifes first pedia check up for our first baby hahaha

I don't think people fully appreciate how amazing this video is in terms of how improbable it was to make captures like this for the time period. Wala pa consumer dashcams. Wala pa cellphones that could take videos. Mahal pa mga digicam nito and they had very little storage. Your only option was a DV cam, pero challenge to keep it stable inside a vehicle because no one used it for this purpose back in the day. Then of course, there's also the fact na tinatapon na natin mga tapes thinking na it has no value anymore, even moreso with those who could typically afford this setup. Kudos to the channel owner for being able to keep this footage preserved!

If you take a look at his channel, it looks like he's still occasionally making videos like these. With that said, it seems like he started doing it after he uploaded this video soo can't really tell if he's been doing it since 2004 or 2021 when he uploaded this video.

BGC was a giant part that was great for family outings back on 2004. People would fly kites, have picnics, play outdoor sports, and relax with their families and friends. Sayang ang kokonti at lalayo ng mga public parks natin
Best time ko sa BGC, known as just Fort Bonifacio back then, was watching a massive fireworks display there with my family back when my parents were still together

I still remember 2004 back then, Taiwan TV shows were dying, and the rise of Korean TV shows. My last 14 birthday was in the Philippines before I moved to the USA in 2005. I still remember playing with my friends meeting up at the computer shop and playing Ragnarok and MU or Counter-Strike. Halls candy was 3 for 2 pesos Na kakamis ang childhood ko. Last year was the 1st time Ko visited Sa Pinas in almost 20 years. I asked myself felt this was not my home when I revisited there but changed everything when hangout with my childhood friends. I felt alive. Things around change in the Philippines but the joy and love of family members and friends is still the same. Mabuya!!

This is very nostalgic! This video is literally my childhood because from 1999-2004 I lived in west rembo scene 5:30 - 6:30 and moved to C5 Taguig till 2006 scene 7:14 - 9:00 now the rest of the video is where my life revolves now. I live in BGC around 5th Ave near scene 12:38 and that 3-block sculpture called "Transformation" on the left is still there and now I currently work in Pasig, Emerald Ave scene 23:46 and usually walks to valle verde to get a ride to home scene 1:55

That c5-kalayaan intersection was where our car suddenly stops and wont start, so I had to help my dad push while he push/maneuvered to the nearby talyer when you turn left going to Buting/Pateros. 2004 is also the year my dad died. I was born in April 2004 and it makes me strangely happy to see the Philippines as my parents saw it when I was a kid. I was too young to really remember anything of this time in the Philippines and we moved abroad in 2008, only recently returning in 2020, so I know nothing of what this country used to be like in the 2000s and 2010s. They said they'd often take me to BGC, specifically Market Market, to play. I can only imagine this is what I saw in my childhood when my dad would drive us around in the FX that was our family car. I was in 4th year high school nito 2004. noong 2nd year high school ako nag walking kami ng family sa BGC na noon wala pang gaano buildings. ung Pacific Plaza Towers, Fort Strip, yung Ford showroom, Jollibee and McDonald's palang ung mga popular establishments dun. ngayon, tagal na ako hnd nakakauwi ng Pinas I wonder anong feeling na marami nang mga pagbabago.

man it really looked so peaceful and nice back then... makes me wonder what happened cause now the roads are a mess, traffic is insane and people are less civil when it comes to driving and giving each other way etc.

Sa 2005 pa ako pupunta Manila for college but I frequent Manila noong bata for summer breaks. I still recall Megamall with a parking lot in front (same with SM North).

oh wow. badminton was really the popular recreational sport back then. There was a time when C5 and Lanuza Drive were the "alternative" routes to avoid traffic. Now they're just as congested. But then fewer people lived in East Pasig/ Rizal areas then so a 4 lane would suffice.

  • @4g63_Everything

Grabe anluwag ng C5!! But now in present times, super traffic from BGC to Ortigas ext.

I remember those times. Worst times of my career. I think I still have 14 to 19 to go before retiring.. Kung baga na spend ko na yung more than half of my career life.
