Hi guys, just found your video…..looking forward to watching them all…..lucky me and my wife are heading to Tassie in late November December…a very long 28 hour flight…..so worth it, in 2019, we took a quick fly drive day trip out from Melbourne….drove down to Port Arthur…in the summer….and yep it was 6C, howling Gale, raining like a monsoon….we just loved it all, wild and so beautiful…we vowed to return, and so we are, just a short trip as we have other trips to do in Victoria…we are doing trips around the south, lots of wild trips, so excited, I love Tassie, love Australia….so, hotels now booked, flights next….cheers guys, thanks for sharing.
Jack & Megan 💞🎉 l can honestly say we really appreciate and enjoyed your Tasmanian story. Beautifully down to earth and living the dream. Well done and continue your journey. Thank you Megan don't lose your bubbly beautiful nature. You reminded us of our daughter when she was your age. We miss that and your parents might one day too. All the best for your future ventures. Live life
Watching you two is like a youth elixir and happy gas rolled into one. After surgery late last year and in recovery now it's been fantastic to be watch you travel around Tasmania. I get to sit back and watch the pure joy you both radiate when you see the simplest pleasures in life, in snow or a small marsupial I can't help but smile and laugh along with you. Keep up the fantastic work and thanks for the travel therapy
Glad you enjoyed the Tassie series mate:) We're so grateful we are able to share it all with you guys. Hope you are going well with your recovery also :) Thanks again.
Put a dark polarizing filter on your camera and you'll get a good photo of that hexagonal Sun Simulator. I haven't seen the old golden "real" Sun since about 2002.
Brilliant! So great to see a couple enjoying everything about Tassie that I loved for 54 years - now Perth WA for 16. Love the cold and feel of snow, waking up by a log fire covered in snow with a snake curled up beside me for warmth while fishing Arthur's Lake. Too old for that now but your brilliant vlog certainly brings back memories!
I grew up in sassafras Tasmania we used to get ice on our front lawn un winter and once a month we would go to gradle mountain and slide down the snow in potato bags we even got snowed in one of the cabins and had to get dug out Tasmania us such a beautiful island i miss Tassie I wiah i could go back but can't afford to you guys should go back in winter and stat at cradle mountain Lodge
Re-living the last number of weeks in 1 hour and re-living my trip there from a couple of years ago. Truely a wonderful place. You have captured it and your wonder and excitement so well! Thank you.
I know this is over 12 months old now but you guys crack me up! "It's proper snow. It's not melting" Your excitement for the outdoors is wonderful. Discovered your channel from your caravan reno and now loving your Troopie adventures.
@@itsJackandMegan I know. I've been there few times now. NYE in Hobart was the best with all the boats in the harbor. We went up Mt Wellington on 1st Jan and it sleeted!
If you came from St Helen’s you should have stopped off at Pyengana. There is a dairy farm Cafe where you can sample cheeses and other products. And down the road is a little pub where you can feed pigs a watered down beer called Pub in the Paddock.
Jack and Megan, Great informative video- incredible videography! My wife and added Tassie to a recent long vacation to New Zealand but anly had 3 days. Not long enough and your film makes me crazy to spend more time!
Awesome edit, can't wait till i own my own troopy, we owned one when i was about 12years old back in 92 and it also pop up conversion but by Shiralee back in the day but that was my parents i wanna continue the dream by myself and relive the old days these videos are so awesome thx guys.
Thanks so much for the amazing video, guys. This was super helpful in planning our own trip to Tassie. We're just here for a month and there seems to be so much to do- and so little time :P
Great to see your trip. You will find the hiking is helped by using walking poles . They take at least 1/3 of the weight of your knees. We cannot hike without them . Great to see some young West Aussies enjoying nature. You have given us some great ideas for our trip to Tassie in November. Thank you.
Hi guys! New to your channel and had to come here next as I love Tassie too! It’s the only state outside of my own (NSW) that I have visited several times (eight times so far but the last time was 6 years ago, so very over due) but anyway…l Ioved watching it through your eyes and your experiences…. I smiled right through it! I wish you both well, and hope you can continue to travel and hike.
I just stumbled on your happy, loving trip! I can't believe that I smiled through the whole thing! My cheeks are aching!! ;) Once, when I wore a young man's clothes, I'd leap on the mountain crags like an idiot goat! Do all that great stuff. Now, thank you for such a nice 'virtual' glimpse. When ended, I decided on the spot that I'm going to Tasmania TONIGHT! Just to taste the air! Thx agn
Awesome to watch some of the places i have just seen ... so different when you did them. 3 weeks down and i'm still in the north west and been in a new place each night [except for 3 nights in Macquarie Heads] ... I think i better get a move on eh !
Great video guys, my wife and I hired a hilux campervan in 2019 and toured Tassie ticking off most of the items that you covered. I reckon that this video with its stunning footage, great story telling and great edit is a must watch for anyone planning a trip to Tassie! Well done guys!
