18:27 every club has its embarrassing fans who let the good supporters down. I bet he barely even watched the match. Too busy being a slave to his ego and drunkenly acting like a chimp. He gets more of a buzz shouting hollow threats to the opposing fans than he does when his team scores a promotion-winning goal. Fascinating behaviour, as the chimp lady would say.

Also an owl and agree, had to watch hull beat us on my birthday a few years back at Wembley and it was terrible, and we didn't go down to 10 men or concede in last min so can't imagine. Best of luck next season tho, if you play like that or when you beat us 4-2 you shouldn't have much to worry about

Wednesday fan here, Barnsley played theyre part, with 10 men they battled, we just had that will, that drove us on against Peterborough, good luck next season, lived in Barnsley they are good people, but i was born in Sheffield, and the Owls have always been my club, WAWAW,

Yes, it was very strange to see a few of the Wednesday fans wrestling with the canvas netting to celebrate promotion??? They must have thought they were 'Blades, Premier League' banners. That said, 99 percent of the Owls fans I met in London were great and the Reds also got many complementary remarks from fans of Chelsea, Fulham, Millwall and Arsenal during my stay in the capital. Barnsley was incredible after the sending off. The players gave absolutely everything and should be immensely proud. Both sets of fans were magnificent too. You'll be back no doubt about that.

Unlucky for your team even tho I'm a massive owls fan n celebrated wildly at the end i couldn't help but feel a bit for u lot the red card swung it in our favour but we didn't really capitalise on it til extra time it seemed to galvanise your squad in that 2nd half. Hard luck. Plenty to be optimistic about though. Spare a thought for my team, Chesterfield. We suffered a cruel Wembley defeat just the other week, consigning us to yet another season in the 'Alcatraz' of football. - the National League. So called because it's nigh on impossible to escape from.
I didn't think there was a worse way to lose then penalties but if there was this was it. Atleast with penalties as insufferable as they are, you have an idea as they go along, like if they score this they win etc. Last kick after holding out so long with 10 men, shot me. Brutal game at times. 😂😂

What a shocking way to lose after all the players sweated blood out there after the sending off. What's the point of VAR, if the referee is not allowed to look again before making such a game changing red card decision ? ? Pathetic!! That chance that dropped to Luca was the big one to defy the odds and win it, but I can't blame him for missing so badly as he was brilliant today. I think Isted could have saved the winning goal, but again he pulled off some top saves today and probably a combination of sun in his eyes and the power of the header was just too much for him. Not sure we would have won on penalties, but devastated we didn't get the chance after coming so agonisingly close. Just remains to see what's left of the coaching staff and team before the start of next season. Unless they have a major overhaul in the summer put your bets on a Wednesday relegation next year 😊 Apart from Bannan there's no real class in that team.

Ref had VAR to his disposal and shocker EFL refs balls it up for us yet again stone wall penalty and a yellow maximum, we had a brillant preformace and to say wednesday scraped through against 10 men just shows the wonders duff and the squad have done this season.
Forr next season we need to heavily invest in the final third to be more clinical and if barnsley dosent do everything in their power to sign isted and bobby thomas itll be the biggest mistake.
