I have had the pleasure of being inside Hillsborough this season when SWFC played Exeter. The chants from the Owls fans simply blew me away, I doubt if there’s a better fan base countrywide. Congratulations Owls on your much deserved promotion. Thanks Alex for this great video.

@@teddi5414liverpool fans are mostly glory hunters, already making less noise now they’re in europa league. newcastles fanbase doubled when they got rich new owners and had a good first season 🤣 but they were pretty good to start with to be fair. sunderland yep they’re in the same position as wednesday, climbing back from an unfortunate dip.

Go 4-0 down after the first leg of the play-off and then come back in the 2nd leg to make it 4-4, score and own goal, scramble one to level it again and then go through on penalties. Score at Wembley in the final with the last kick of the game. Amazing

Even 2 weeks after I still get emotional watching anything about this day, the night at Hillsborough was special for different reasons, but because of that semi final comeback, this last minute winner just released so much emotion and relief for all Wednesday fans.. Best dat of my life watching this special club

Agree Wednesday is a club too big to be in league one - like Sunderland and ipswich - but that won’t help in the championship without quality which you lack.

Appreciate you were in Wednesday end, and pretty high up, but Barnsley were robbed of a fair chance to win (and us neutrals of a chance to enjoy a good match) by terrible ref decisions. Add to the fact Weds were dire for 90% of game means felt bad for Barnsley. (Plus Windass such a bellend in post match) Out of three of us promoted, see them doing the worse and maybe - unless do they some decent recruitment - going straight back down.
