Build something similar, but with geometry nodes and it takes info from mesh lines or curves inside and make geometry trims with adjusted tilt to normal/custom normal. An idea from me, but your looks complete and never thought to use this as texture trims(lol), good job!

We're not planning to charge extra for updates if feasible, 2.0 didn't cost any extra either.
