"Where do you get your ideas from? Is it a ditch?"
Iannucci's brilliant.
This is incredibly good. I dont understand how they can improv like this and never crack a smile or change the pacing from needing to laugh.
I love the way he says' "I see things written on walls... i see things written on walls"
Somewhat reminiscent of 'Why Bother?', the improvised interview series featuring Chris Morris and Sir Arthur Streeb-Greebling (Peter Cook).
This is unbelievably funny.
who told you it was funny
is this recorded live? how do they do this without corpsing?? brilliant
"They might think I'm terry christian, or mark lamarr, or roland gift from the fine young cannibals, or edwin collins, or ray litta" Genius haha
Oh God, I hope, against all sense, that someone gives Stewart Lee super powers.
That "I was the bully joke" he has lifted that.
Roy Chubby Brown, what are you doing here?!
Muppet
brilliant as usual!
"Where d'you get your ideas from, is it a ditch?"
Anticappointment... ah jesus, we need more comedians like this in the world!
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I just listened to the series and it was the funniest thing I've ever heard
"K.D Lang has let himself go" is my favourite.
Amusing to see that even the BBC can't spell Iannucci's name
I want a transcript of these interviews
that made me tingle.
So be it. So be it.

SDF
Now imagine Richard Herring asking h the same questions... a very different interview with very different answers
@FaxanaduJohn The perfect delivery. I fucking LOVE that line!
anticipointment lol
Stewart Lee's comedy is like watching a middle-aged man having a mid-life crisis.
But in a completely and totally hilarious way.
It must have been ridiculously hard not to laugh for them, such a professionals
I love how obsessed he is with Frank Skinner's legacy, haha!
If you go with the Joker's backstory in The Killing Joke, he had been a comedian before turning to crime.
Since reading this comment I've spend 4 solid years researching the Joker and can't find any evidence of a career in comedy.
Given the choice, I think I’d go for SDF
11:51 Stephen Carlin
It was a chemical plant in Superman III, not an oil refinery. Tcha.
@ZachForrest They're all on stewartlee.co.uk
eskimo face from the 90s

Morrissey has really let himself go. He is even more depressing outside of the music
Armando is so dry..Comedy lege!!
straying around while talking does make you seem more intellectual...have to remember that for my next conversation

Greeb-Streebling don't you mean?
Robbie Coltrane with type 2 diabetes.

why are the bbc making it so difficult to find these? its bloody annoying
Such and such has let themselves go etc
Antisapointed! 😀
If a bomb went off in that room, scripted comedy would essentially stop.
I thought Edwyn Collins was Dead? And Scottish?
welwyn garden city
Anne widdicombe has let herself go
'cos they think they can make rules for the internet. But they can't, because it is its own intangible country.
Janine Buffalo is hot
Too much hiding behind irony here. Very good though
now here's something of no value......
no it's not
Whats wrong with cupping your hands?
wish i could understand the scottish dude lol ah well back to rab c nesbit for me.
The so called chameleon Stewart Wee is not funny because he is a comedian who thinks about what he will say before hand. I like a Comedian who comes up with stuff on the hoof like Will Ferrell.i love watching take after take of him making up stuff. The crew isn't bored or looking at their watches...they love it...the boom guy yells "forget the script that someone took time to write...just do more riffing on a subject....we will get it in the edit...it's fine"
Who wanted to hear lines you thought up yesterday...it's all about the now.
So he’s not a comedian
