Why do our Brit friends totally ignore the absolutely necessary condiments that go with American food items? Breakfast burrito requires the salsa. Pancakes need butter and syrup. Biscuits need either something to dip them in, smother them in or top them with. Top suggestions...butter, jam, or honey. But just about everything works well if you like. And biscuits are not like scones. Biscuits are a baked good with layers of fat (like pie dough or croissants) that melt while baking and make the biscuit flaky and fluff. Biscuits are also like a dinner roll but instead of being leavened by yeast they rise due to baking soda or baking powder.

Yeah, the sausage is far better than the bacon for the sandwiches there. Their bacon is decent when combined with other things such as on a burger, but not with a lot of their breakfast stuff other than adding bacon to a sausage, egg, and cheese McGriddle or McMuffin. On biscuits we put butter on hot biscuits and add jelly, or honey, or syrup, or molasses. OR…hot biscuits with gravy, and if you come down south, we do hot buttered biscuits with CHOCOLATE gravy…yes I did say chocolate GRAVY. It’s made different than regular gravy. Regular gravy we normally use some type of fat leftover from cooking like bacon or some type of meat. when making chocolate gravy, we use butter instead of those types of fat. It’s made a little different than regular gravy. And it’s so good on hot buttered biscuits!
You can get frozen pancakes (hotcakes, flapjacks, griddle cakes) that you can put in the microwave at home which aren't too terribly different from what you get at McDonald's.

Seeing your drinks without any ice is WILD. I get you're not used to it but there is a reason to have it if you don't use lids. It keeps the straws held down. And it doesn't even have to be much ice. But as you see your straws are floating up.

It depends on where you live. Here in Delmarva (Delaware/Maryland/Virginia) most McDonalds serve breakfast all day. Hardee’s is next level. Biscuits and gravy or a Porkchop Biscuit

I do t think I phrased that very well , what you are calling salty , is buttery because you use salted butter on them when you bake them , then usually put butter on the warm biscuit too . With jam .

-The McGriddles are better when they are fresh out of the oven. They have more of a crisp on them. The longer they hold them the more soggy they get - I like the burritos with alittle salsa They can be alittle dry - I put alittle strawberry jam on the biscuits.
Glad you found the syrup! Pancakes are best with melted butter and syrup. Can also try various fruity sauces too like blueberry or strawberry sauce instead of maple syrup. A little dollop of whipped cream on top is brilliant too!

It's kind of funny British people think Heinz is a UK's product but it started in America and he went on vacation to Europe didn't like the food so I asked for stuff to put on it and they didn't have nothing no condiments so he opened the Heinz factory in UK
And funnier still is that Europe explored the world for spices but has never used them at all

I'm with Millie. I prefer the McMuffins over the McGriddles and the biscuit sandwiches. The McMuffins have real egg in them.

@@intallpines The eggs that are scrambled then folded are from reconstituted powdered eggs. The eggs in the McMuffins are fresh whole eggs.
the pancakes should be soaked in melted butter and maple syrup or at least fake syrup.
-The McGriddles are better when they are fresh out of the oven. They have more of a crisp on them. The longer they hold them the more soggy they get

- I put alittle strawberry jam on the biscuits.

Glad you found the syrup! Pancakes are best with melted butter and syrup. Can also try various fruity sauces too like blueberry or strawberry sauce instead of maple syrup. A little dollop of whipped cream on top is brilliant too!

To get the TRUE American experience you have to eat American food as Americans do, you can't truly judge the food eating experience eating it the British way, just saying is all
