Thanks for this. I really appreciate all your reviews as you deal honestly with two of the most important apects ... comfort and the sound you hear (as opposed to the specs). I have a pair of the Z3 and they are used daily for those two reasons. I like that you always you relate buds to your ears. It is so important. Mine are hard to satisfy, and I have found the choice of ear tips just as important. For mainly classical music listening I have a pair of Shure SE535s but they never sounded as good as their reviews after trying all sorts of tips. I finally got a pair of SpinFits and they have completely changed the sound to completely satisfying plus they are the most comfortable to wear for long periods. Once again, thanks for your reviews.
Thanks for the great review, Andy! I've owned the Z3s (and really liked them) and thinking about moving to the Z7s, but i would like to hear your opinion between them and the Sonys XM4s and the Sennheiser True Wireless 2. I'm looking for a flatter, more clear and defined sound. Cheers
Hey Andy, thanks for the detailed comparison! I have used the z3 for more than to 2 years now and one of the earbuds stopped working so I was looking at z7 to replace them. Since I will be exclusively using them for runs and workouts, I’ve decided to save my money and get the z3 again.
I have owned the Z7 for quite some time and I believe they re absolutely top tier of SQ. I also own the Z3 and I agree with what you have found. The Z7 is absolutely fantastic and stacks up against the plus 300 tws, I know because I've pitted them against a few. Not bad at all man, not many reviews of the Z7
The z3 are excellent earbuds for the price. Sound is great. Better then my jaybird Vista which I bought 3 pairs of over the years, and the lypertek are much cheaper. Only complains are that the case could be a little better quality, but I work outside so it gets excessive abuse. It's fine. It never broke, but the leash peeled off and it is larger and with a weaker magnet than the jaybirds. Also, the little screens over the holes from which the sound emits from the earbuds could be glued on a little better. Again, unless you're cleaning them more often like I am from working around dust outside, this won't be an issue. I highly recommend them.
@Andy's Tech Tone, I just got it today in India, it's going under sale here for 120$! The issues I'm facing are: 1. The volume is low below at least 70%. From there onwards it opens up. I've a Bose Soundsport3 which is much louder. 2. The left earbud sometime disconnects for a micro second and again comes back. It's like a little shake. What I read on reviews this is common problem. 3. I'm using Spotify Premium and it's not allowing me to select AptX Adaptive on my phone. It goes back to normal AptX immediately. Is it because of the source? 4. How much burning in time required? Thanks for the review which made me interested towards Z7. Please reply.
1. Volume is more than loud enough for me on the Z7 however the Z3 can get louder 2. I did not have such connection issues during my tests 3. Spotify has nothing to do with aptX, you have to check settings on your phone instead. Not that the low streaming quality you get from Spotify would justify using any higher bitrate codec but that’s a different story 4. I don’t really believe in burn in, a couple of hours should be good enough
@@AndysTechTone Thanks for the reply. somehow I get Aptx instead of Aptex Adaptive. If select manually AptX Adaptive from the dev options on android it switches back to regular aptx.
Will you review the beoplay EQs in the near future? I heard they really improved the sound quality and was wondering if it was time to move on from the momentum 2's.
@@AndysTechTone Thanks, mate. I seem to agree with lots of your reviews so I put a lot more water in them than others. Bestbuy is restocking Pi7s and it is between these 2 for me..

@@AndysTechTone value for the money... i have tevi for two years, which went even through a washing machine and still sound great. I never had the sennheisers. I read a great review on z7, which should sound the best of all lypertek and can easily compete with mtw 3... and cost just for 79,90 - that is my point sound for the money. No offense.
@@valeccylinder8703 I understand your opinion and agree with it too. I simply answered a question though which had nothing to do with value. And you just said it yourself, you didn’t even test the Sennies or the Z7. No offense 🙏
I have the Z3 and I couldn't agree more with your review but at the end of the day I had to many issues with it. The fit was too deep for me and the hear through mode is just an afterthought and having the Jabra Elite Active 75T with wireless charging for 99.00$ from Amazon made it easy to choose the Jabras. Great review thank you much appreciated. 👍💯 I will say that the sound quality and volume is impressive on the Z3.
Yeah, the Elite Active 75T is much better from most aspects for most people and especially for 99 bucks it's a steal. I got a much tighter fit with the Z3 though and that can make a real difference and I also find its sound superior (or the very least equal) to the Jabra
So many different shapes of ears...I had to return some Elite 65t Active because they wouldn't go deep enough to create a seal in my ears at all. Someone stole my Z3s in Italy and I'm trying to find a way to get another pair to Hungary. Or the Z7s. At least I know the Z3 go deep enough in my ear canal AND play nicely with other even larger eartips. The Jabras and many other TWS buds are designed with cases so compact that you can't put in larger tips. Plus the diameter of the Jabra seem to be proprietary; when I first tried other tips, the tips fit loose and would be left behind in my ear when I would pull the bud out
The cheaper Soundfree S20 from Lypertek is on sale for $30 on eBay right now. Got a pair this week! Mind reviewing it? I do like the ergonomic controls, but the soundstage and clarity is definitely not as good as wired hybrid/trybrid earbuds and IEMs I own.
@@AndysTechTone Well I'm not a TH-cam tech reviewer.......just thought a first impressions or even a comparison video from you on whether the Lypertek S20 is a better or worse value than the Z3/Z7 would be informative to others. 😉

Don't buy the z7. They break within a month. I've had to return 2 pairs already. There's reason the price has dropped to $75 and there's a reason all the positive reviews come from TH-camrs who get free headphones.

My Z3 also stopped working, turns out battery is the issue. Try replacing battery in yours too before throwing it away

Main concern is sound and fit/comfort, thanks
It depends on the price you can get them for
