I started using it and go frustrated quick. Once you get used to one machine, it is hard to acclimate to another one. The problem with the new SunPro brand one is that the coil is large and doesn't have a smaller circle in the center like my Dr.Otek. With my Dr. Otek it is easier to use the pinpoint mode because I can hone in on an object with the smaller circle in the center of the coil. With the SunPro it does not have a smaller circle in the center of the coil and when I hit pin point I have to dig a hole with a radius of 10 inches which frustrates me. Eventually I will be able to figure out how to hone in on an object better if I practice, but I can say that so far the Dr. Otek MT-XR is way easier to use than the SunPro.
I agree with you Paparous. I recently bought a Minelab detector great machine but it will confuse the hell out of you. I had the Garrett AT Pro for 5 years I loved it and still love it highly recommended it. I found that the AT Max is a bit more chattery and could drive you crazy lol. So top pick, great on price and easy to use Garrett AT Pro all the way.
@@LongIslandsHardcoreDetectorist Everyone seems to love the Garret AT Pro. Hopefully one day I will get myself one. If something is too complex I lose interest fast, lol 😁
@@helencaverna Yes that was a good deal, but in my opinion it is not worth more than $44 because it is not very good. I will be honest with you though. This one is my least favorite detectors. I actually think it sucks and does not pick up deep signals and also broke on me after a few times using it. The company had to send me a new one because the LCD Panel malfunctioned after a few light uses. To be honest, you can get a better one for the same price or for a little more money. Out of all the beginner ones, I like the Goyiki: www.amazon.com/GOYIKI-Detector-Adjustable-Waterproof-Headphone/dp/B094N9ZKJ7/ref=sr_1_3?crid=15TFQQYJK06YE&keywords=goyiki+metal+detector&qid=1651442778&sprefix=goyik%2Caps%2C65&sr=8-3 and the Dr. Otek MT-XR:www.amazon.com/DR-%C3%96TEK-Detector-Professional-Pinpoint-Waterproof/dp/B08ZY3TJLC/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=dr.otek%2Bmetal%2Bdetector&qid=1651442911&sr=8-3&th=1 So far I found the best things with my Dr.otek MT-XR including a silver ring, a gold bracelet and some exotic old coins in my yard.
Can’t wait to see how you do with the new machine! Good luck 🍀

Comes with headphones. And comes with headphones ok
Which would you say is better
The sunpow or the Dr otek
Without a doubt the Dr. Otek Mt-XR is way better 👍
Actually it did read the Kennedy coin correctly. The last column was for anything above 25 cents.
You do not want to buy a Minelab Equinox then they have manuals that are a couple of hundred pages!!!

It would've been nice to test in the ground
This product lists for $149 how did you managed to get it for $44? 😮
They had a special promotional coupon for a limited time that I found on the internet.
@@FuturesPast1 now they’re giving you $30 off $149. That was some good deal in 2021
