@@lasagna2424 I respectfully disagree with you for a huge reason. Sombra is exploiting a large terrorist group, and is using her hacking abilities to truly try to discover who really runs the world. In a world filled to the brim with technology, Sombra is technically all powerful and untraceable if you think about it. We do not know what she truly wants, which is the scariest part about her. She *will* most definitely become a huge part of Overwatch 2, along with many other characters who need a spyglass kept on them. Sombra is a huge threat already, and her writing that we have now as fans had a ton of potential of being expanded on.

I love what they showed us today, now they need to tell us what is gonna keep us interested in the live game till overwatch 2, we can't have another 2020 where we just get nothing except the usual events
Well i can since I am still fairly new and never played for a year
I mean we just got a map so thats probably supposed to be our "content" for next 3-4 months after that idk what will happen I hope we get a new gamemode maybe and also they just gave us bounty gamemode

They had most of the groundwork from ow1. This isn't a lot of work. This is an understaffed project inflating their accomplishments on a game that is over a year out to get people to stop hating their lack of progress. If this impresses you adding some gun sounds and a few character skins and new maps that should have been added already good for you.

I love how this game is being focused on with story elements. Seeing the character expressions in CUTSCENES, CUTSCENES IN OVERWATCH. It really exciting. I can tell that the lore we’ve been excluded this past year is all being put into this game. I’m really excited

@@therealsamtheman Tbh everything. If I had to choose specifically it may even just be the sandstorm function (must have taken FOREVER to program), but I do mean it when I say everything.
It gives me hope that working on games isn't worthless, and I'm right in feeling it's a form of art! I hope to one day reach the game quality of Overwatch 2 and this gives me hope that it may be possible!

I mean, i understand that there is no release date. It shows that they take time and doesn't rush a trailer or release date.
Also, if they have a release date, it will inevitably be delayed. And if it gets delayed again and again, people are gonna be very antsy. So it's better to have no release date.....yet.

@Ty The Great clearly you did if you took what i said as Overwatch owes us a bunch of new content. all i said was they better say something about the game. meaning i want to hear something about the current game i’m gonna be playing for the next year, not the game i’m gonna be waiting to play for another 1.5 years.

Also, just thought of some detail ideas that is probably useless, but could be amazing in the story made. Imagine you can customize some small details of the character's looks(like hair or some sort) and have some unique dialogue that mentions the character's appearance change, or have some special situation that could change the character's appearance for the rest of the game, like characters look more rugged or a mess when taken too much damage on some scene, etc.
Of course, all of these aren't necessary and useless, but it's something that I don't think I've ever seen in a game before and I thought it might be amazing to see.
