Ikea poncho also very useful ... Doubles as pillow and as a mat for sitting on wet ground.

I’m a firm believer in not buying a bunch of excess stuff to jam up your suitcase and scouting the thrift first to find stuff, particularly suitcases, bags, and zipper pouches. It’s all there, except for the ikea hat

Such a great well seasoned traveler tip! Thanks for commenting. Appreciate it! Sometimes the best packing advice is to bring less. Do you have a go to suitcase or bag that you use? I am always interested in what people like to travel with.

Small backpack (personal iten size) and simple duffle (carryon size). Only way to beat the 7-8kg weight limit

I didn't know they had a travel section. Those waterproof bags and packing cubes is exactly what I need at a better price than what I was looking at.

Great ideas! >>One suggestion for the kiddos clothes: organize/group each full outfit (like you did), but instead of placing each outfit into the bulky organizer ….put each outfit into separate Large Ziploc bags (press out the air) & write on the outside of the Ziploc bag the *name of the child & day the clothes are to be used*.
Also, the kids can put those dirty clothes back into the now empty Ziploc bags at the end of the day 1) so the hotel is not messy with the kid’s dirty clothes everywhere & 2) Because the clothes are sealed in Ziploc bags it does not dirty/smell up their suitcase. [I take a mini sharpie with me to write on the bag “Dirty” so there is no confusion.]
When you get home, ask the kids to collect all the Ziploc bags that have “dirty” written on them & take them to the laundry area for Mum/Dad to sort. 👍 Helps them be responsible, involved & teaches them packing/organizing skills.
    >> Ikea’s Clear mini Dry Bag: I use it as an “ice pack” if someone gets hurt (kiddos) - fill it with ice from the hotel’s ice machine. Also put Soda cans in it (with ice) in the hotel room to keep things cold if hotel does not have a fridge.
I love watching your channel grow!

What an amazing comment! I love this idea. If we use it in a future video I will be sure to give you a shout out.
Love the idea of having the kids more involved when it comes to packing, unpacking and learning a few responsibilities along the way.
Keeps things easy, clean, does not smell up the room. Such a great option.

Yes! Probably even better for camping trips as it would take up a fair amount of room in a suitcase. Thanks for commenting!

The dry bag will work to wash your clothing. Add water and detergent (including sheets), roll around in the shower, dump soapy water for rinse water.

Another thoughtful comment! Thanks so much.
Great travel tip also. Love the idea of using the dry bag as a wash bag while traveling. We are always looking for ways to do a little laundry while we are on the road. IKEA has great prices on that type of gear.
      Appreciate you!

For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.

After years of buying luxury travel things, I have replaced them with very lightweight, foldable travel accessories. They take up less space and less weight, which means I might be able one day to travel with just one carryon and save money having to check my bag.

I'm proud to say I have never been in an IKEA store. From what I have seen at other's homes their furniture is cheap particle board junk. I would expect their other products to have the same quality.
