1st time ever reacting to HIZAKI and have since learnt that 'She' is in fact a 'He'! This takes nothing away from the amazingness of the performance and I'll correct myself in future vids if you guys and girls want to see more HIZAKI on the channel!
I realise this may upset some ppl and that was never my intent, I don't do research on an artist before I react as I like to get my own impressions form there music and I've always felt a bit of magic is lost when a reactor knows everything about what there watching before they react.
I hope you all can still enjoy this reaction and I give my apologies for my lack of knowledge before hand!
Don't apologise. No need. I think the majority of fans have been there. And that's the appeal of the scene. They are so convincing you just can't tell. It's not so much a political thing in Visual Kei anyway, more of an artistic expression thing. Some are lgbt, some are not, and most of that is secondary to the art.
Visual Kei is a scene where people play roles, or can be the person they see themselves as, which normally they coukd not in a society as traditional as Japan. You'll find goths, Monsters, crossdressers, princes, and princesses, and creatures covered in gore all in the same scene, playing everything from pop rock to deathcore (sometimes in the same band, sometimes in the same song).
It's a deep rabbit hole.

Funny you mentioned Beethoven, since Hizaki wanted to learn the violin as a child but his parents wouldn't agree. So their definitely is a classical influence in his music. As others have said his song Race Wish is well worth checking out. Or his work with the bands Versailles and Jupiter.
When you can shred like Hizaki, you can wear whatever you god-damn please! XDDDD
I highly suggest a couple songs from the band he's in, Versailles, called Faith and Decision and Versailles. I recommend the live versions from the Holy Grail live performance

Hey so nice to see you react to Hizaki! The new (mini)album, of which this is the title track was released in February. This is his solo project and the album is complerely instrumental [with some background choirs] but he plays in two bands, Versailles and Jupiter [like others have said before - Jupiter consists of the same members apart from the vocalist]. I would really like to recommend reacting to Versailles. Faith and Decision is a 16+ minutes long masterpiece dedicated to their former bassist who passed away. But I can ensure you it's worth watching/listening to and you won't even feel that time fly by ^^

Ive been listening to hizaki and teru and versailles for a long time. Watch race wish and rosario if you havent. Theres one small article about hizakis coming into music. Its a good read.
