In the early 1990s, I had an elderly neighbor who was a widow. In the spring she would open all her windows and she would play her records. I was in elementary school when I was introduced to this beautiful music. She would play her records for hours. My bedtime was 9pm, I would sit out in the porch at night listening to these songs.
Sitting on the patio listening to this the sun is shining a breeze about 60 degrees baking banana bread windows up this is what it's all about so glad I found this❤
I literally woke up this morning, walked to my local grocery store and bought myself a slice of banana nut bread and a little coffee. Then walked to the nearest park to sit in the sun and enjoy my morning snack. Now I’m at the library reading this comment. Crazy! Quite literally the perfect way to spend the day. 🥰
Lepreezy! You had a video taken down called "cozy winter hut with vintage oldies playing in another room and it's snowing" and with milk and cookies art in the background. There was a song at minute 42 that I really liked! Please let me know the name of it. I cannot find it anywhere!!! :((((
Can you remember the lyrics or basic tune of the song? If you remember the lyrics you could try typing them into TH-cam or Google and then add "song" at the end of your search, and that method usually works. Or if you only remember the tune, you could go to Google and use the 'hum a song to find it' option. I'm not sure if it appears on computer, but it's a feature that I found in google when I installed the app on my phone. Good luck! Hope you find that song :)
There is not a time I listen that I don't see slide shows in my mind of my mom and dad. I had this red record player, but the arm was big and heavy. Where you put the needle as big as a small drill bit was round and flipped up. With the white noise and scratches, played our 78's all the time. Beautiful days when less was more.
The song at 57:12 "Love is a Lovely Thing", where is that from? Who wrote it? Who's recording is this? I can't find it anywhere except here and 1 Ann Gilbert video from the mid-50s. I love it!
I am so in love with the selection of songs along with the lovely record visual, but I am especially in love with the song at 37:57 . I know it's of the song I Love Paris, but I can't for the life of me find that exact version anywhere! If anyone knows where it comes from I would be ever so grateful!!
😮🎉tenho um desses ainda, cor preta, muitos discos de vinil que pertenciam ao meu pai e meu marido, ambos já se foram. Tenho o 81, esperar mais o que nesse mundo invertido e caótico ???

Hearing to Oldies make me feel safe and comfy. My nights and afternoons are incomplete without oldies. My husband has recently gotten addicted to it.
