In the book Penelope actually gives up on gettin* married all together and finds herself more confident and alluring to people because she becomes more blunt and assertive. The sass and almot enduring shameless nature what makes her WAY more likable as she ages. If they take away the innocence she has in the film series she will definitely be a better character.
Each book is about one Bridgerton sibling. There is hardly a mention of Simon and Daphne again until book 4. Do people really think that Phoebe and Rege should just hang around as extras for years to come? I understand the dissappointment of them not returning as their charactors had such an impact. Life moves on. ❤❤❤
Well, I believe if they don't have other jobs lined up, it wouldn't hurt for them to be extras since they're still getting money out of it. If they secured better jobs as main characters, then it's understandable
I feel like they changed that to be the Queen’s query from season 1, so not sure if they would do it again. However, the reveal was done smashingly well in the book, so I hope it follows the book to some degree.
Eloise seems to only see her own points and doesn't even seem to help Penelope with any kind of support but she seems to actually portray as to be above her but Penelope is insecure however her writing is who she really is and her voice but I love Eloise she has spunk❤❤❤❤
I would love to see more of how Anthony's marriage blossom as well as Penelope and Collin's story. Season 3 made me kind of dislike Daphne lol I cant wait to see more of Simon in future seasons 😊
If you are an iconic character I feel you should make an apparance every now and then. Like especially how crazy popular the show is. Also it is up to them to want to come back.
I don't get these comments...season 2 was fantastic. The weakest character was Edwina if anyone lol. Season 1 was amazing also. It doesn't make sense to compare and rate them, each love story is different and appeals to different personality types.
Daphne and the Duke are the best don't think not having them in the series is a good decision because it would be great to see how their marriage progresses and passion they have to me they are the glue to the serious that brings it together and recast of the original actors would totally mess the series up
I disagree, there is nowhere for their relationship to go and having screen time of them just flirting for no benefit to the story would bore most people. If you are still infatuated with their love story, season 1 is always available to rewatch. That is what I suspect I will do with season 3 as I love Collin and Penelope. The show is not about Daphne, it is about the Bridgeton siblings and they all need their moment. I’m already thinking the idea of Kate and Anthony always being around will just bore me. I think your opinion is very biased and most people did not continue to watch the show in hopes of seeing Daphne and the Duke again. We will all have our favourites, but claiming they are the heart of the story is unfair.
@@hildachurlSee, I feel like there was so much “will they, won’t they” that we didn’t get to see Kate & Anthony’s love blossoming. So I would like to see a little more of that as secondary characters. While I was disappointed that Simon decided not to come back, it makes perfect sense for Daphne to not be around anymore, if he isn’t. Her appearances in Season 2 seemed awkward that Simon was never around his wife & kid. I do think they would be around in real life bc they are a close knit family. Unfortunately, since the actors that played Simon & Daphne had to much chemistry (which we saw play out), it would be challenging to just recast the role.

Countess bridgerton is embroidering tulips on something for Daphne and the Duke. Because it's symbolizes, passion. And I haven't seen anybody bring up the fact that when anthony goes to propose to kate he brings tulips
I think she uses her "insignificance" as a Featherington to her advantage. Since she is practically invisible in that society, no one cares much about gossip about her.
I will be honest, I am not as enthused about this storyline as the past 2 seasons. I will wait to read the comments on what others say first. I am still annoyed at how Whitledown messed up her friend's love though.
I think the queen implied at the ball in the last ep that she was going to link Edwina up with Fredrich, I'd LOVE for them to get a season or be prominent background characters in an upcoming season.
I assume this is the most anticipated season, there is no way knowing for certain if they manage to do all books, so nothing wrong with scrambling up the timeline a bit. ;) I still hope they also do Eloïse's story though.

I think the only characters that stick around after their stories is Kate and Anthony because he is head of the household so they have to be there
