Justin, I am a 39 year old veteran I live in Cleveland Tn a church on every corner and yet every time I would walk into a church it was faith based or prosperity preaching I would always say something isn't right we are picking what we want to believe in out of the bible but not living by the bible. I have asked where do I go to find actual bible teachings and brother after years and years of searching I have finally found You! This is a miracle! I know nothing but I don't want a cookie cutter version I want the real so Sir thank you. You have saved my life.

Justin does a very fine job of interpreting the word of God through the Holy Spirit. I advise everybody to be careful of what you say to such a man as Justin God protects his own remember that. it helps nobody to accuse or degrade somebody specially when you yourself do not fully understand the gospel.

People pay his expenses to travel, and he has no set fee he charges in order to show up whether international, or domestic. This is stated per his website. He also does not require an expensive hotel, simply handicapped accessible.

I found Justin Peters in suggested videos which is shocking in and of itself given the new workings of TH-cam. The video was on the Shack. I was a bit stunned with my own excuse making for that book/movie. My pastors wife gave it to me. I attended that church for a while before hearing one too many things that didn’t fit scriptures. We always used books aside from the Bible. Purpose Driven Life - was a big one. I then watched Joel Osteen maybe 3 times before scratching my head and calling my mother. My poor mother. She’s been a faithful servant and suffered much loss while still rejoicing in the Lord. I really thought she went crazy when my dad died in a plane crash. Obviously it was sudden: she had peace I couldn’t understand. She knew my dad was in heaven. I know my mom has prayed hard for me. Very hard. Now I understand the sadness in her eyes concerning me. I’m reading the Shack attending a metaphysical Christian Church. 😢 I’ve been wanting to find a home church but I was afraid to land in another mess of doctrine. What I feel now.
God Jesus Lord. He doesn’t care which I choose to call Him just that I do call upon Him.
I need to read my Bible more. A lot more. If I knew the things Justin has opened my eyes to , I couldn’t have been led into the mess in the first place and if I was I would have seen the heresy of it all. Blasphemy actually. Hot tears burned my eyes and fell down my cheeks. I am a sinner. Saved by grace. Yet I followed a path opposite my Father in heaven. Loving the Word of God is paramount. I felt such deep guilt knowing God has certainly been very disappointed in me.

Rebekah רבקה God bless you. Hugs to you. Read Matthew or John. Then acts then straight through the new testament. I did this. Get some highlighters and color code what you read. The more you read the more hunger you will have for the word. We must do this so we will know Truth and not be fooled. Each time before you read pray and ask God to keep distraction away , ask Him for discernment and understanding and knowledge of His word. Then you won't be fooled again sweet lady. I went through similar watching tbn in the 90s for a month or two but I believe the Holy Spirit was warning me and the Bible was warning me and the good teachers I was hearing on a certain radio channel were saying what the Bible said. This was before TH-cam. God drew me out of the heretics which I knew weren't right and led me to good teachers. I got so interested in the Bible that I had no interest in the or the phone etc. I just wanted the word. I'm going to read straight through again because the enemy is bringing confusion and also love is waxing cold. It's end times. We need the word desperately. May the Lord help you and make you hunger for the word. Praying for you and your mom. You are blessed to have her !

Mr Peters is very wrong, sorry to be blunt. John 3:13 Jesus: "No one has ascended to heaven except he that descended, the son of man" He calls i it correctly a parable but almost makes it a fact. It is about 2 classes of people that experience a huge change in their lives' The Lazarus class were only given spiritual crumbs but now as Jesus' disciples they "died " to that situation and were given spiritual abundance. The rich man class now experienced Jesus' judgment messages and felt "torments ", as if being consumed by fire. They too "died" to their privileged life. They ,whilst Jesus was on earth, were very angry at him and plotted to kill him. They succeeded because God allowed them to. Abraham was and still is sleeping in the grave .The conversation in the parable was just a story depicting the changes in the 2 classes of people.. Jesus and the faithful angels "carried" the disciples to the favored bosom position that Abraham has. A drop of water would not even make it to the rich mans mouth if he really was in a place called hell as most translations say. Nor was/is possible for someone in "hell" to carry on a conversation with anyone in heaven. The "great gulf" fixed is the impossibility of any compromise between Gods righteousness and the wicked religious leaders of Jesus' day. Abraham will be resurrected in the "New Earth". He will not go to heaven as John 3:5 points out. That resurrection (Acts 24:15) will surely see him become one of the "princes" mentioned at Psm 45:16

    • @ralphgoreham3516
      @ralphgoreham3516 2 ปีที่แล้ว

The word "hell" , Originally an Anglo Saxon word meant a place to preseve food, such as a cellar or covering it with soil. It got seconded into the Latin Vulgate and later the KJV. The Greek word HADES means the common grave of mankind as does the Hebrew sheol. The Bible says death in most cases means to sleep in death until the 2 resurrections occur. Eccle. 9:5 says the dead know nothing. John 11:11,14 Mark 5:35, 39, 40.
      See also 1 Thess. 4:13, 14, 15, Acts 7:60

'Luther, Its too bad you feel the need to condem a man you yourself have never met but proceed to accuse him of not ever meeting Joel Osteen. Justin did in fact meet Joel Osteen, had a brief conversation with Joel in which he asked him to repent before they ushered him away. I have the recording on video because I was there with him. Justin has been to Lakewood several times and patiently shared the gospel with people coming out of the service. So Luther, it is you who does'nt know what he is talking about. Justin does travel all over the world and he goes to many impoverished countries at his own expense. He is handicapped so international travel on any level is difficult. Some of the conditions he has endured for the sake of the gospel many able bodied people wouldn't consider. As for him being unforgiving, well, I can tell you first hand that he is one of the most forgiving people I know. He is quick to forgive and even quicker not to hold a grudge. You don't know Justin, you have never met him. My suggestion to you is that you spend more time in your Bible and less time criticizing a man you know nothing about. Slander and gossip is a sin and you have demonstrated that you are well versed in both.

I pray that I can meet him one day or come hear a good Word of God from him!

Mr. Fred may have come from a "Catholic" family, but if he had never heard the gospel before, he wasn't paying attention. At every Mass we celebrate we are led through our own personal sinfulness in the Confiteor, we acknowledge the consummate holiness of God in the Gloria, we have the Passion and Death of Christ in the Eucharist, and we receive Christ into our bodies in Communion. It is sad that our Protestant brethren have left the truth of the Church.

  • @lightlover33

The idea of "sola Scripture" was to establish the primacy of Scripture over tradition in the context of Catholic doctrine, not to violate the Scripture on the many avenues of which it authoritatively speaks on how God communicates with humanity.

This passage is not a parable. Notice that three people are named. Second this is an event that actually happened. If Jesus is speaking to his disciples then it should no longer be parables "Matthew 13:10 (KJV)
10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
Thus Jesus speaks plainly to his disciples. Finally in verse 25 it states "Abraham said" thus it must have been a real event or Jesus would have been lying.

Revelation 14 The Passion Translation (TPT)
    The Lamb and His 144,000
14 Then I looked, and behold-there was the Lamb[a] standing on Mount Zion.[b] Gathered with him were 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. 2 And I heard a tremendous sound coming out of heaven, like the roar of a waterfall and like the earsplitting sound of a thunderclap. The sound of music that I heard was like the sound of many harpists playing their harps. 3 And they were singing a wonderful new song before the throne, in front of the four living creatures, and in front of the twenty-four elders.
4 No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed free from the earth. These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women,[c] for they are virgins,[d] and they join themselves to the Lamb wherever he goes. They have been redeemed, purchased from humanity and brought forth as the firstfruits[e] for God and the Lamb. 5 Their words are always true;[f] they are without flaw.[g]
The Message of the Three Angels
6 Then I witnessed another angel flying in the sky, carrying a message of eternal good news[h] to announce to the earth-to every tribe, language, people, and nation. 7 With a loud voice he shouted, “You must reverence God and glorify him, for the time has come for him to judge.[i] Worship at the feet of the Creator of heaven, earth, sea, and springs of water.”
8 Then a second angel followed, declaring, “She fell! She fell! Babylon the great is fallen! She once seduced the nations and made them all drink the wine of the passion of her harlotry!”[j]
9 Then a third angel followed them, shouting with a mighty voice, “Whoever worships the wild beast and its image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 will also drink the wine of God’s wrath. This wine has been poured out[k] and mixed in the cup of his indignation. They will be tormented[l] with sulfur[m] and fire in the presence of holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their severe suffering ascends into ages upon ages. Those who worship the wild beast and its image and receive the mark of its name will have no rest day or night.” 12 This is a call for the endurance and faithfulness of the holy believers-those who follow God’s commands and cling to the faith of Jesus.
13 Then I heard a voice from the heavenly realm, saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead-the ones dying in the Lord[n] from now on.”
“Yes,” says the Holy Spirit,[o] “they will rest from their trouble,[p] for their deeds will live on!”[q]
    The Harvest of the Earth
14 I looked and behold-I saw a white cloud, and sitting upon it was one like the Son of Man, wearing a golden crown and holding a sharp sickle. 15 Another angel came out of the temple, shouting out to the one sitting upon the cloud, “Take your sickle and reap, for the time of reaping the harvest has come and the harvest of the earth is ripe!” 16 So the one sitting upon the white cloud gave his sickle a mighty swing over the earth and reaped its harvest.
17 Then another angel came out of the heavenly temple, and he too had a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar of incense-the angel with authority over fire. He shouted out with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Take now your sharp sickle and harvest the clusters of the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe.”
19 So the angel gave his sickle a mighty swing over the earth and gathered the grapes from the vine of the earth and threw them into the great winepress of the wrath[r] of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden outside the city[s] until blood poured out of the winepress as high as the horse’s bridle[t] for a distance of one thousand six hundred stadia.[u]

To "filter" everything, thru your mind is good, as long as you Discipline yourself, to Wisely agree, with the ( Scripturally based ) " Mind of Christ" . JESUS , WOULD AGREE 100 % WITH THE ENTIRE TEACHINGS , OF GOD'S WORD . THIS MEANS ALL OF THE " MILK " AND THE " MEAT " TEACHINGS , OF THE 66 DIVINELY INSPIRED BIBLE BOOKS . THE SAVIOR , ENCOURAGED ALL , TO RECEIVE ALL OF THE BIBLE'S TEACHINGS . Teaching them to OBSERVE (( DO ! )) ALL THINGS , whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. matthew 28 verse 20 KJV )
THE OLD TESTAMENT , TEACHES IN MANY PLACES , THAT WE A ARE TO " DO ALL " , THINGS GOD HAS COMMANDED . 28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul THAT SINNETH IGNORANTLY , when he sinneth by ignorance before the Lord, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. ( NUMBERS 15 VERSE 28 KJV )
TODAY , THERE IS NO EXCUSE ( GOD WILL ACCEPT ) FOR IGNORANCE OF GOD'S RIGHTLY DIVIDED WORD , AMONG CHRISTIANS THAT HAVE A BIBLE , AND CAN READ . WE ARE COMMANDED , TO NOT ONLY ACCEPT THE " MILK " TEACHINGS ( FOUNDATIONAL TEACHINGS OF THE FAITH ) BUT ALSO , THE " MEAT " TEACHINGS . SO , EVERY CHRISTIAN , SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE AN A TO Z LIST , OF THE " MEAT " , OR MORE ADVANCED BIBLE TEACHINGS , AFTER WE HAVE A FOUNDATION , OF THE MILK DOCTRINES , AS LISTED IN HEBREWS 6 VERSES 1 AND 2 . 1
Concerning this we have much to say which is hard to explain, since you have become dull in your [spiritual] hearing and sluggish [even [f]slothful in achieving spiritual insight].
12 For even though by this time you ought to be teaching others, you actually need someone to teach you over again the very first principles of God’s Word. You have come to need milk, not solid food.
13 For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]!
14 But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law. HEBREWS 6 VERSES 1 , 12, 13 AND 14 ) AMPLIFIED BIBLE )

This Parable given by Jesus, was directly given to the Pharisees and the Jews of that day..... to show that they would not believe someone that came back from the dead was saying that even when Jesus resurrected they still would not believe that he was from God.
    And they did not.
It is metaphor, which Jesus used a lot of, and it is a parable.
Because just being a rich person would not make a person go to hell. And someone being tormented in hell would surely ask for more than a few drops of water on their tongue.
And in verse 20, but there was a certain begger name Lazarus -full of sores.( indicating an unclean state, such as the Gentiles were in before they were brought into the fold).... Desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table ...
Anyone remember Jesus telling the Canaanite woman who wanted her demon-possessed daughter to be healed, that it was not right to take the children's bread and toss it to the dogs? Her reply to him was true Lord but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master's table. Because of this Jesus healed her daughter and told the woman she had great faith! Matthew 15:21 through 28.
Going back to the parable, Lazarus was at the Gate of this rich man Desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table.
The rich man signifies the Jewish people, who held a place of esteem compared to everyone else in the world at that time.. Lazarus signifies the Gentiles which until this time were not yet brought to the fold. And Jesus was telling these Pharisees, that the ones that they were looking down upon as dogs ( the Gentiles) would have a place of high esteem compared to them who were richly given God's truth, and yet did not have eternal life..... because they rejected him.

I don't see anything wrong with praying the sinner's prayer. You could have prayed it with the World War II veteran so he had a chance to accept Jesus before it's too late.

It is not my intention to criticize or find fault but that makes perfect sense to me too. Not just the vet but the woman sitting in front of him also. He didn't follow thru with either person yet he had an opportunity to lead 2 people to Christ! Why stop where he stopped?. Both received Justin's sharing in a positive and receptive manner yet both left the plane having heard the gospel but neither left having claimed it for themselves. They were lead that far, why not lead them all the way? Their encounter lead to nothing because both left the plane just as lost as when they boarded!! Their encounter was not a coincidence!

I Corinthians 3:11-15 may well be the most straightforward text in all of Sacred Scripture when it comes to Purgatory:
For no other foundation can any one lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any one builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble-each man’s work will become manifest; for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.

Purgatory is a man made doctrine. Without it the whole Roman Catholic system would fall apart. That is how they keep people thinking they will be safe and it is a huge money maker for them. The notion of purgatory is found nowhere in scripture.

Being saved Through Fire is a metaphor. It signifies that one's works will be refined as gold is refined in the fire. The process of refining gold in a fire is to eliminate and burn up all the impurities. The Bible uses metaphors throughout.

Justin, we do not repent of sin to be saved. Repenting of sin saves no one. Believing the gospel is what saves us. First Corinthians 15:1-4 That Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures, that He was buried, and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures. When we believe that Gospel, we are given eternal life as a free Gift from God. We are born again. Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also AFTER ye believed, ye were sealed by that Holy Spirit promise. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Born again, born of God.
We have eternal life now. Not because of what we do, our works, but because of what He did for us. John 3:18 We can no longer be condemned because we have believed.
Repentance for salvation is the Greek word metanoeo. It means to change your mind. Turn from trusting in what we do to save us, to trusting in Jesus finished work on the cross as the only way of salvation by grace. Jesus is the narrow way, because their is no other way.
Salvation is a free GIFT from God to all who believe the gospel. That all of our sin debt has been paid in full, and we can no longer go to hell because we have no sins to pay for. Jesus already paid for them all. First John 2:2 And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world. But only those who believe it are saved.
Faith is not a work, but repenting of sin is work. We can not be saved by works, only by grace. Romans 11:6 and Romans 4:4-5 God can not be in debt to us for what we do. If repenting of sin had anything to do with salvation by grace, then we could boast in our repentance. Under grace we have nothing to boast in. Ephesians 2:8-9 We have nothing to boast in because we did nothing for the free gift. If we were still under the law, then we could boast in the law. Fall from grace. Galatians 5:4.
AMAZING GRACE, JESUS PAID IT ALL AND WE PAID 0. IT IS FREE. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, and we all sin, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 8:9 Without the Spirit of God there is no salvation. With the Spirit, we have eternal life. Hebrews 13:5 For He hath said, I will never leave you or forsake you. John 6:37 I will never cast you out. John 10:28-29 And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. And My Father who is greater than all, no one can pluck them out of His hand. Double eternal security.
We are saved by what he did, not by what we do or do not do. If we were saved by how we live and what we do, we would be our own savior and Jesus died in vain. We can not save ourselves. We can only be saved by His blood sacrifice for all our sins forever.
First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

    • @jimkraft9445
      @jimkraft9445 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

It is our soul/spirit that is saved. We all die because of sin in the flesh. We are still sinners. First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive our selves, and the truth is not in us. The only reason any of us are going to heaven is because all of our sins are paid for forever.
We all deserve to go to hell. We all sin. But God sent His own son to die in our place to take the punishment we deserve, so that we would not have to go to hell to pay for them.
Matthew 7:21-23 Those that trust in their own works and their own righteousness are not saved. Only those who have trusted Jesus and His finished work on the cross are saved. They have never done the will of the Father. And what is the will of the Father? John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent me, that all that seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have eternal life, and I will raise Him up on the last day.
Second Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless, the foundation of God is sure, having this seal, (the Holy Spirit) the Lord knoweth them that are His. Eternal life is the gift when we believe it. Faith is not the gift. Eternal life is the gift. Faith comes from hearing, hearing by the word of God. The gospel. First Corinthians 15:1-4

What is the evidence that you believe the Gospel? The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe in the gospel. Mark 1:15, I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. Luke 5:32, I tell you, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Luke 13:3, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem Luke 24:47, For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death. 2Corinthians 7: 10, The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

Jim Kraft, one cannot believe without repenting. As you correctly stated, repentance is a change of mind - changing the way we once thought about God and about our sinful condition, and agreeing with God's view of us. This is the work of God in our hearts, to believe and come to Him for salvation. Faith and repentance is the work of God in regeneration, not a work of ours 😊😊

If u dont repent. You will never be saved. Because Jesus came to save the what Father's mine. How come u will not repent from sexual immorality. Only evil person that doesnt repent from their sin. Remember in Matthew many called Lord Lord did we not bla bla by Your name. And Jesus said : I NEVER KNEW YOU. YOU PRACTICE OF LAWLESSNESS.

    • @jimkraft9445

Many call him Lord but are trusting in their own works to save themselves. They are trusting in what they do instead of what Jesus did for us.
They never did the will of His Father in heaven. John six:40 And this is the will of him who sent me, that ALL that seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up on the last day. John six:29 Jesus, answered, and said unto them, this is the work of God, that ye believe on the one He has sent.
We can be chastened by the Lord, and he may even take our life early, but God can not lie. John six:47
First Corinthians 5:5 Turn such a one over to Satan to kill the flesh so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord. This was a born again believer, Ephesians 1:13, who was sleeping with his fathers wife. He was about to lose his life, and the rewards he could have had in heaven, but the man was still saved so as by fire. Only His rewards were burned up. First Corinthians 3:15.
Romans 11:29 For the GIFTS and calling of God are without repentance. Irrevocable. Can not be changed back. John 3:18.

Justin Peters states he is a evangelist that travels all over America and over sea's. That takes a lot of money to do . Peter's states he does not believe in ( Biblical Prosperity ) and/or prosperity of any type . examples , Psalms Chapter 01 ..III John 2 , 3. ...Well, Justin , Which is it ? Does the Lord Bless those who walk not in the counsel of the ungodly ? He seem's to speak of Joel Osteen and yet, Peters has never met Joel Osteen or stepped one crutch in his church .

I listen to many preachers, and stop following any who speak what is not true. I still like Chris Rosebraugh, Bezelt3 (still checking him out, but so far I like him), Jacob Prasch, and Todd Friel. Luthor, My father was a preacher. When another church wanted him to come to their church to preach they provided a place to sleep, a place to eat, and help with the expense of getting there. Often that meant gas money and a room in the home of one of the congregants. My uncle, (also a preacher) once went to a tiny church in the upper peninsula of Michigan. The only "facility" available up there was an outhouse behind the Spartan church building.
Most preachers who simply travel receive a "love offering." This is in line with the Bible. When traveling full time the minister has no other way to feed his family. This was what was happening in ancient Israel. The tithes were to feed the priests and their families. Every third year there was a second tithe which was for "strangers in the land."
There is a world of difference between earning enough to feed the family, have a place to live, and meet reasonable needs; and private jets, multiple mansions, designer suits, and $2,000 per night hotels.
When we were dirt poor my parents still gave to the church. They still shared what little they had with anyone who had less. Do the Prosperity preachers? No. They despise the needy. They teach that the poor are guilty of inadequate faith, or living in sin .
"A workman is worthy of his hire." I went to Kenneth Copeland's web page looking for his testimony, or the mission's statement of faith.........doctrine of salvation.......I wanted to see what he teaches about Jesus.
There was not one word about Jesus or salvation. The whole thing was about getting money and bragging about how rich they are.
